Why do you love Liv: She is a superb actress and always dazzles when on the screen. She just seems like a genuine and sweet person.

I am delighted to be here among other Liv fans! Basically I am a HUGE LOTR movie fan. I own the trilogy in both two disc sets and the four disc extended editions. I will actually at least once or twice a year watch the extended movies all in a row, then watch all the appendices for all three flims, then watch them through a couple of more times each with cast commentary, and with director and writer commentaries. I recently recieved the Stragers dvd for my birthday and LOVE it! I look forward to getting to know you all and getting very invloved in sharing our mutual love for Liv!

Why do you love Liv:

This is a difficult question. Liv is many things to me. She is that naive adolescent in me that so much wants to find a pair of eyes to gaze into and fall in love with, she is a focus for my infatuation with female beauty. She embodies all the physical characteristics I find most pleasing, no one has such a perfect jawline and chiseled chin, infinite blue eyes nor flowing dark hair or flawless pale complexion; or the towering poise and grace her height commands. In my continuing affections for her wondrous visage she has ceased to be a beautiful woman, but has become the defintion of beauty itself.

I have not seen all the films she has played roles in, I have not read or seen all her interveiws, I know very little about the woman herself. Indeed I am slightly frightened of learning too much about her, I would not want any factual information to crumble the pedestal I have placed her upon although from the little I do know it would appear that her beauty runs much deeper than her skin.

She is an anthropormophic projection of my desire to protect and love as well as be protected and be loved. As this abstract concept she is very important to me although I am equally well equipped as you are to point out the inherent ridiculousness of holding a stranger in such high regard. The reason I allow this feeling to persist is because I know I shall never meet her, or know her, which is as much my regret as it is a justification for feeling this peculiar way; because it just doesn't matter.

I have waxed lyrical here, and allowed myself to be overly self-indulgent. I realise this, but I make no apology, because the facet of me you will no doubt see on this forum is the piece of me that melts inside when studying her portrait [which is all too frequently], and this forum in its design is presumably the exact place where this kind of sentiment is to be expressed.
