One role that I mostly think of when I hear Liv Tyler's name is as Grace in Armageddon. I don't know why but I liked her best in that role because she showed a vulnerability that the viewer can sense.

Yeah, I liked Faye too.

For some reason, I thought she was great as Maya. I don't know why, but they way she played it seemed fresh and good to me.

I liked Faye too. Mostly because that's the first role I remember seeing her in.

I also liked her performance in Stealing Beauty. She played it really sweet, and really subtle.

Arwen and Grace were also good characters, but they weren't as strong as the other characters and she was pretty weepy in both roles.

I forgot she was in Plunkett & Macleane! I loved that movie.

Favorite role though? Definately Corey in Empire Records. Awesome movie and even though her character was a bit naive, she pulled it off great.

Well first time I really heard of her was as her role in Arwen (but I DID see her in Aerosmith's "Don't wanna miss a thing" video... didn't know who she was though).

I just... love her as Arwen, that's my favourite role by Liv. I did see her in Onegin (which wasn't a fulfilling movie) but her acting was very good.

I wish I could see Jersey Girl! Guess I'll have to rent that.

Well let's see... I've seen:

Jersey Girl (2004) .... Maya

Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, The (2003) .... Arwen

Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, The (2002) .... Arwen

Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, The (2001) .... Arwen

One Night at McCool's (2001) .... Jewel

Cookie's Fortune (1999) .... Emma Duvall

Armageddon (1998) .... Grace Stamper

That Thing You Do! (1996) .... Faye Dolan

Empire Records (1995) .... Corey Mason

I think I like them all alot, Corey, Grace, Faye, Maya, so on...

But I don't know. I don't know if she's my favorite, but I thought Emma from Cookie's Fortune was really interesting. I don't know why exactly. She was just really different from alot of the characters Liv has played. She was kind of fun, spunky, headstrong, and a little naive about some things and a little too smart in others. lol.

I really loved her as Pam Abbott innocent, yet not really. That has to be one of my faves.

Corey was another good character, someone who delt with a drug problem and always trying to be perfect at everything. Such a conflict with everything, but Liv pulled it all off very nicely.

Totally, the scene at the end with Bruce Willis. So emotional and sad, I tear up at that time....also when they come home and her character and ben afflecks character are running towards each other....so emotional right there

Yep, every scene when she's in the control centre makes me cry, no matter how many times I watch. When Billy Bob' character tells her she shouldn't be there, and she tells him she has nowhere else to go, just the way she delivers it breaks my heart everytime.
