There's been some bad parents on Degrassi, but Zoe's mother has to be candidate for the worst. She was awful.

Zoe's mom gave off bad vibes from the start. She's the type of stage mom who would leave their kid's savings empty at 18.

I'm not sure if The Cuban is making its way around festivals, etc at this time but here's a few things I have saved from May that might be of interest.

I saved this picture because she's pretty. Now I am liking it and sharing it here (I think my internet...process is different than other peoples lol).

As we adapt to the time we live in, recently there was the first Lavazza Drive In Film Festival, and guess what the opening night movie was? There's also a special premiere of The Cuban on July 28th benefiting the Alzheimer Society of Canada. For that screening it will be a double feature of The Cuban and An Officer and a Gentleman. Oh, and it was her mother'sbirthday last week so Happy Belated Birthday to her.

Her movie premiere looked cool with the old cars on display. The drive in atmosphere worked in her favor.

I was thinking about it and I don't think I have ever seen a movie at a drive in theater. When I was a kid they used to show adult films at the drive ins.

Anyway, you're right, the drive in seems pretty cool and the movie fits the atmosphere.

I have never been to a drive in either. Seattle has...or had...movies in the park. I don't know where there would be space for cars to park for a movie let alone park like in general.

What a lovely quote and yes, now all I see is Judy Garland in her. Don't know why I didn't before.

I grew up in a very artistic household. The arts were really encouraged and supported. I grew watching a lot of watching everything that ended up playing on TCM [Turner Classic Movies]. It was in my blood. I would go to bed with music playing, otherwise I couldn’t fall asleep. It was everywhere in my life and shaped my childhood and how I saw the world. I got into dance when I was five years old, but it was just the tip of the iceberg. I got into acting when I was nine and then into music when I was sixteen. I couldn’t imagine my life without the arts and without being a creative person.

Q) What was the process like for you playing dual roles as actor and producer on this project?

A) It was certainly a lot more complex than I anticipated. It was a tough balancing act for both Sergio [Navarretta] and I as producers and creators. We would be debriefed on the day ahead in the early morning, then switch to our creative roles for a while, be debriefed at lunch, back to creative and then debriefed at the end of the day. It was complicated but definitely worth it. We managed to find a system that worked for the both of us.
