Ultimate Degrassi Episode Survivor: Season 4
This was a breakthrough season with articles in major publications such as Entertainment Weekly. It featured the emotionally charged wrap up of one of the leading story lines of the first three seasons, a departure of a Degrassi favorite, the realization of a crush four years in the making, breakdowns for a pair of Degrassi's leading lights and the expulsion of another pair of students. Oh and it also has the episode which is probably the favorite to win this whole game. Please consider the 2 part episodes as a whole and vote on it as one as opposed to preferring part 1 over 2. Also take in consideration the b and c plots. For your convenience we’ve listed a brief summary of the episode. Rules: The first round will last 2 days with the cut off time ending at 12 AM EST on 8/27. From that point on the rounds will last roughly 24 hours. You have only one vote to cast, with the exception of a tie breaker round. Vote for your least favorite episode and the one with the highest tally is out of survivor. The last remaining episode wins! 401/402- Ghost In The Machine Paige learns that the legal system is not perfect when Dean is acquitted of all rape charges when her case finally goes to trial. When she later confronts Dean at a college frat party and is angered by Dean's arrogant brushoff, Paige seeks a destructive revenge. Meanwhile, Craig gets a $10,000 birthday gift from his late father, and his way of spending it causes friction with Joey. 403- King of Pain Marco reveals his sexuality to his mother, but not to his homophobic father. When he runs for School Council President, Alex, his competition, decides to play dirty politics by threatening to reveal his homosexuality at the Election assembly, which his dad is going to attend. However in the end she changes her mind and decides that it isn't right to use homophobia as a way to win the election. Chris wants to get back with Emma, but she's not interested until she notices sparks flying between him and Liberty. 404- Mercy Street When Rick returns to Degrassi everyone raises their concerns with the fact that he might do what he did to Terri to another girl so with the help of Emma, Paige, Hazel, Spinner and Jimmy decide to run Rick out of Degrassi for good. Also JT and Manny seem to be going nowhere as they have barely kissed in four months but when Manny sees his private part and JT sees Craig's in the locker room, JT, with the help of Liberty's pipsqueak brother, Danny feels forced to use a penis pump in order to "measure up." 405- Anywhere I Lay My Head Sean asks Ellie to move in with him, but she is unsure until her mom gets drunk again and burns their kitchen down. With Paige sick, Manny is in charge of the Spirit Squad's car wash fund raiser. She asks Spinner if Downtown Sasquatch will play at the event, and at the car wash, things get steamy between the two. 406- Islands in the Stream After being fired from The Dot Grill, Paige gets a job working alongside her nemesis Alex at the movie theatre concession stand to pay off the damages to Spinner's car. But when Spinner starts taking advantage of Paige's debt and humiliates her in public, including fighting with Craig over Manny, a fuming and fed-up Paige breaks up with him. Mr. Simpson partners Rick with Toby in the Degrassi Trivia team tryouts, resulting in a new friendship. They compete to see who can get more kisses from the girls at school. 407/408- Time Stands Still Jimmy becomes a member of the "Whack Your Brain" quiz team, and realizes the anti-Rick campaign has gone too far. He tells Jay, Spinner and Alex to lay off Rick, but they're not convinced, and humiliate him in front of the entire school. They dump paint and feathers on him during the competition. Rick comes back to school after being humiliated during the "Whack Your Brain" contest. Toby and Mr. Raditch tell him to take the afternoon off, but Rick chooses to stay. Cleaning himself up in the washroom, Spinner and Jay trick Rick into thinking the prank was carried out by Jimmy, and he vows revenge thereby shooting Jimmy in the back, and when he attempts to shoot Emma, Sean steps in, and wrestles Rick for the gun, leading to Rick getting fatally shot. Joey's financial troubles force him to put his house up for sale. When his real estate agent gets nowhere, he asks ex-girlfriend Sydney for help. Later, Caitlin returns to Toronto and buys the house. 409- Back in Black In the aftermath of the school shooting, Sean has become the hero. When his mother is interviewed on TV, Sean and his friends take a trip to Wasaga Beach so he can confront his past, but instead he decides to stay and live with his parents. Toby wants to go to Rick's funeral but finds himself shunned by J.T. and that little pipsqueak Danny. 410- Neutron Dance The recording deal Downtown Sasquatch won the year before is about to expire, and the band is nowhere near good enough. Things get worse when Craig asks Ashley to join the band, angering the other members. Paige joins Hazel at yoga class, and develops a crush on Matt Oleander, the teaching assistant. 411/412- Voices Carry It is Ashley's dad's wedding, and Craig and Ashley are back together again. He creates a romantic setting in a motel room, and Ashley loses her virginity to him. At the wedding Craig announces he and Ashley are engaged, which angers her parents and Ashley has to set him straight. After Ashley's rejection, Craig spirals into a deep depression and bizarre, destructive behavior. J.T. and Liberty are struggling to put together a play to raise school spirits, and when they write an inappropriate song about Mr. Raditch for the play, they get detention. While in detention, they share a moment that brings them closer together. 413- Bark at the Moon With the abortion still haunting her, Manny tries to avoid being in another relationship by going after the new kid, Chester much to Spinner's dismay. Will Manny be able to commit to their relationship? Also Paige will not give up her quest for her newly found crush Mr.O and it may seem he is interested in her as well. The fallout from the shooting forces Mr. Raditch to have to leave Degrassi. He is replaced by Ms. Hatzilakos. 414/415- Secret Ever since the school shooting Emma has been distancing herself from her friends and everyone else and finds herself in a dark place. She makes a connection with Jay and soon makes a shocking discovery at what kids really do down at the ravine. Instead of telling on everyone, she joins in on the raunchy ravine activities. Later, Emma begins to worry, when an outbreak of gonorrhea happens among school students, including Jay and his girlfriend, Alex. At the urging of Ashley, Craig attends a teen support group to help with his bipolar disorder, only to find out that Ellie is attending the same group. Meanwhile, Jimmy is fed up with being pitied and enlists the help of Craig and Marco to sneak out of the rehab center for a concert by his favorite band. 416- Eye of the Tiger Spinner hasn't talked to Jimmy since the shooting, and his part in it leaves him wracked with guilt. After Jimmy returns to school, Spinner starts spending time with him again. However, the more time Spinner spends with Jimmy, the more guilty Spinner feels - until he confesses to the part he played in the prank. Spinner feels better, but only for a moment as soon every friend he has, as well as his girlfriend Manny, cuts Spinner from their lives. Spinner later confesses his and Jay's part in the prank to the new principal, Ms. Hatzilakos, who expels them. Danny has a hard time accepting J.T. and Liberty's relationship. 417- Queen of Hearts With her mother newly sober and looking to get back into Ellie's life, she turns her attention to playing euchre with Alex, Craig and others. When Alex wants to play for money against Dylan's hockey teammates, Ellie has to decide whether or not to gamble with her rent money. Meanwhile, Paige is wondering why Matt is so reluctant to invite her to his apartment. 418- Modern Love Paige and Matt are totally in love, so what if they have to keep it secret? It's worth all the extra effort. But when Manny reveals the secret during a heated fight with Paige, she learns that Matt might not be as comfortable with their relationship once it becomes public knowledge -- and jeopardizes his teaching career. Meanwhile, Manny organizes a girls night to help cheer up Emma, however, the girls end up turning their attention to Emma's new neighbor, the annoying Chester. 419- Moonlight Desires Marco is upset when he discovers he is unable to donate blood at the blood drive because he is gay, and then catches Dylan in bed with another guy. He is unwilling to break up until Dylan insists that they have an open-relationship. After breaking into the school, Spinner decides to burn it down, only to have Jay talk him out of it. After pleading with Ms. Hatzilakos, she gives him another chance to come back to Degrassi. 420- West End Girls Manny has been picking up the slack for love-struck Paige on the Spirit Squad and feels betrayed when Paige claims all the glory. Soon, Manny and Paige end up in a heated Queen Bee battle. Caitlin interviews film director Kevin Smith who tours Degrassi Community School as a possible location for his latest movie Jay and Silent Bob Go Canadian, Eh!, and he asks Craig to write a song for the soundtrack, which Craig hopes will keep Ashley from going to England for the summer. 421/422- Goin' Down the Road Craig gets accepted into a music program in London so he can be near Ashley. However, after Ashley rejects him, he decides to skip the program and live in the boiler room at Degrassi, where the new Jay and Silent Bob movie is being filmed. After Spinner tells Joey about Craig, he comes to get Craig and when they get home, Joey and Caitlin have an argument. Craig blames himself for their fight and takes off, ending up on the streets of Toronto, without his meds. Meanwhile, Caitlin is torn over accepting a lucrative job offer to return to Los Angeles or stay with Joey and the kids? She complicates matters by drunkenly confessing her dilemma to Kevin Smith at a bar, leading to a kiss. __________________

Modern Love - 10
Bark at the Moon - 1 Looks like we're all in agreement here. Modern Love is the first to be eliminated. Round 1: Modern Love Rules: This round will last roughly 24 hours. I'll always remember that episode for this picture. A bigger version was posted on the old D-TV site, but I couldn't find it. I'll vote later.

Have you found a way to get back into that site? The gallery with season 3 and 4 promo pics? If so, PM me! I'd like to double check my collection. Back when I used to save them, I was on dial-up so it's possible I missed some. Also from Modern Love:
lol I renamed the file to "here to stop crime." I don't know what was going on here but they both look fierce. And no, I haven't decided what episode I'm voting for next. __________________
