These two were my second fave friendship on the show, Emma and Manny were my first, loved them. I was so happy when they made up in the season 5 finale. Spinner running back and hugging him was great. I heard that was Shane's idea to do that.

I WANTED TO POST IT SOMEWHERE but I didn't even know there was a Spinner/Jimmy appreciation thread!
I was so happy when I saw that photo, but then I felt... kind of... sad? IDK. I can't even explain it; it's weird. I guess I still haven't come to terms with Aubrey's fame.  |

It is amazing how big a star he turned out to be. He'll always be Aubrey to me.

Jimmy and Spinner's honesty pact came up in the this or that thread recently and I couldn't but laugh as I recalled Jimmy's final line during their big tell the truth face off:
"That’s because you pee on the toilet seat and my mom doesn’t want you over!" Random student walks by and stares at him so he yells... "What?!" Aubrey actually seemed genuinely pissed. The "what?!" had to have been adlibbed.__________________

I'm going to have to re-watch that to seem if I pick up on that. That's one of my favorite plots with them, though.
I thought they were heading to the Championship in our March Madness. A definite surprise that they were beaten in the last round. __________________

Yeah, I thought they would be the champion too. I think what caused me to shift my appreciation is that their friendship fall outs were too brutal? I mean, I enjoyed it and them not being friends was devastating, happy they resumed their friendship...but maybe there were too many fights. Their friendship has always been rocky. Jimmy sometimes can have a "better than you" attitude and Spinner's role was the screw up. Still a very memorable friendship though!

Their big blowout in season 4/5 is one of the main reasons I voted against them near the end as well. They're a great friendship, but it was tough when it was up against other really great friendships.

That whole 4/5 story line with them just reinforces how little friendship based plots we now get. I guess there was the whole Alli/Clare thing with Jake, but I can't think of too many significant true friendship story lines they've had in recent years.
