I remember that, I wishe they left it in the movie. I might not have liked this Spemma fiasco but since it was happening anyway the could go the right way about some things. Spinner taking Jay fishing, as a second most important male in his life, seemed fitting. Many people would say it should have been Jimmy, but not me. Jay was there through the hardest time and even though we can't blame Jimmy for turning his back on Spinner after learning the truth about the shooting, it still doesn't change the fact that Jay was there, when needed. Jay/Spinner friendship always appealed to me more than Jay/Sean or Spinner/Jimmy. But I did like the other two.

I loved these two's friendship on the show. I miss Jay so much now and Spin, favorite people on the show. He even told Alex spin found the lord. Jay was still friends with Spin after everyone shut him out. I miss bad ass Jay!

I agree with all of this. I liked the other two, but Jay/Spin was my favorite of the three.

I like these two because in my deluded Seaig loving mind, it got Jay away from Sean. My God, Jay is like the equivalent to the other woman.

Okay, no, really I like how and what their friendship evolved from. I liked them the best in season 4 and 5 when they were the outcasts or undesirables. Hmmm...I just got to thinking...how much interaction did they have with each other before the tar and feather incident? But you know, that doesn't even matter. It just all seemed to fit together. I don't doubt that either one would fall into situations like that together.

For a few seasons there, I think the writers whole idea with how to handle Jay was who can he tempt to the bad side, next?

I love Spin/Jay, they are hilarious together! Loved them so much more than Spinner/Jimmy. I mean Spinner/Jimmy are classic and whatnot but I loved the fun side Jay would bring out of Spinner. Towards the end I felt like Jay was more Spinner's best friend then Jimmy was.

It makes me happy to know Spinner, Jay, Emma and Manny are all happy somewhere and probably all keep in touch... no matter how random Spemma was.

Yes, they definitely had issues early on. But, Jay ended up being Spin's Best Man, which we could use for a thread title when this baby gets completed in 2034.
