I finished watching the second season of The Best Years over the weekend. You know, I have to give them some props, they totally reworked the thing and it turned out for the better. The second season, while not great, was certainly better than the first season. Of course, it really would have been hard for it to be worse.

This year didn't have someone I wanted to punch, which is an improvement over Season 1.

I think I might have a mouse in my house.

Oh and my washing machine may be on its way out. This just after I spent $987 on my car earlier this week.

Somebody sent me a message on Facebook saying they knew me when I was in elementary school.

I don't know who this person is.

Of course when you're trying to remember a hundred years ago that's kind of understandable.

Maybe you can tell me....what is Facebook? Is it like Myspace? Who uses it mostly?

As for Facebook umm..it's a social networking website ala MySpace and others. I think the people who use it are more broad-based in scope than who use MySpace. There's common interest groups which can be for just about anything I guess. There's a lot of games and quizzes and stuff like that as well, although I haven't really done any of that. I pretty much just lurk. In fact after joining up about a year and a half ago I just last week added my first and only friend- my sister. I did notice that one of my friends is now registered on the site, so I'll probably add him as well. Or maybe not. Somehow I don't think he'll stop talking to me if I don't.

Yeah, my brother has Facebook too. I'm looking into it, but really I don't even bother with my Myspace or LJ that much.

Twitter's a lost cause because my life isn't nearly as exciting as I'd like.

Yeah, I have one of those too and I've updated it about five times in three months. Exciting!

If you do have a group of friends from high school or college that you've lost touch with Facebook probably is a good place to reconnect with them. If you want to.

I'm going to start a Simpson/Nelson family thread soon and need to come up with a good title. Hmm.....

Yeah, I'm sure a lot of my college friends have Facebook, and a few of my professors.
