I agree! I mean, so many people after WPA was like 'Oh, if he really liked her he would just choose her'. But, honestly when have we EVER known Craig to be uncomplicated. I do think he cared about both girl at the time. But, him and Ellie were uncharted territory. Dating wise at lease. It was safer for him to stay friends with her and go to Manny, who he'd already been with romantically.

Craig is someone who's always had people in and out of his life. Aside from Joey, Craig hasn't had a lot of stability. Ashley, who was someone that he thought would always be there, left. She went off to London right when he was in the middle of his BP thing. Not saying she was wrong, just stating a fact. So, in his past girlfriends leave. I think he was afraid that Ellie would do that eventually. And, like he said, she'd seen him at his worst. That's a vulnerable thing.

I agree. To me, Craig has always seemed to hold a higher respect for his friendships rather than his romantic relationships. Craig isn't a bad FRIEND..but he's been a bad BOYfriend on more than one occasion.

I don't know how I would have felt about them had they become a couple in WPA. Because i'm sure that if they did, by now they would be over. It would have been Craig and Ellie breaking up in "Ghost" and not Craig and Manny. As far as i'm concerned, "Ghost" was just another tribulation that, in the end, will strengthen their friendship.

I'm anxious to see how they will interact when he comes back. It should prove interesting, even if they aren't addressed romantically.

Exactly! I mean, people say that Crellie is like a Crash wannabe or whatever. But, I couldn't agree less. With Crash, they had a friendship and all but, it was a friendship with in a relationship. Craig and Ellie built a friendship through out a long period of time (not all shown on screen but, talked about). And further more, Ellie is the only girl that has ever understood Craig the way he WANTS to be understood. They shared a lot both in and out of group. Since becoming friends Ellie has always been there for him. She hasn't popped in and out like other girls. She was a constant EVEN after her sort of rejected her in WPA she was still the one who knew what to say to him about the band issue and she was still there for him. Crash and Cranny could never continue a friendship after they hurt each other or split. Crellie has. And, though we haven't seen the full fall out from Ghost, she was even there for him after he hurt her, making sure he got the help he needed. I think that says a lot for them and it's the reason I feel that they could potentialy be in it for the long run.

Also.. I would DIE DIE DIE to see what happened during the summer they got close. They should do like a series of mini's about that. Group sessions, talking walks, picnics, ect. AHHHH I would love that!

Yeah, in a way Im kind of hoping they dont go the romantic route.

I like that they have a strong friendship and I dont want them to ever ruin things. I cant wait until Craig gets back just to see their interaction. Of course part of me wants them to get together, but if Jake isnt going to be around I'd rather it wait.

Well I definitely want them together, but only if Jake is coming back for more episodes. It would be a waste for any couple to "get together" in 2 episodes. Personally, I would feel cheated.

So, i'd rather keep them as friends until we can get more screentime for Jake. But I don't know if I see that happening. I don't know what his plans are after theatre school.

Although, yes, I'd like to see these two get their shot, I'm in agreement that putting them or anyone else together or back together (

), if Epstein is just going to do two episodes is just a waste and unfair to both the characters and actors. I'm also not sure any girl on the show right now should be in a romantic relationship with him, given his current state.
