Thanks for posting that link. I did not know she played Shania Twain in a movie I will have to check that out. I never noticed before, but she actually does look a lot like her. Even though I have seen that picture a dozen times before I cant help but get jealous of Shenae's smile. The girl has amazing teeth

Yeah I take back what I said about Annie>Darcy. No one can ever be as amazing as bat**** crazy!Darcy. I don't dislike Annie or anything (I have a feeling I'm biased because I know her as Darcy)...but she's a little too much reading as the leading lady you are supposed to love. It seems like her character is trying too hard to be liked. And she hasn't really done anything juicy yet. Shenae nailed that crying scene last week tho.

I haven't seen the episode yet, but yeah they need to let Annie have a bit of an attitude. The writers and producers (who have a lot of experience on pretty good shows) should know by now that you don't need to have your lead be the nice girl that everyone needs to love.

It doesn't serve the character or the show well and more often than not, will create a backlash that can be hard for the character and actor to overcome.

I love Shenae but I am starting to lose interest in her as Annie because if she is not acting like the sweet girl next door she always looks like she is about to cry or throw a tantrum. I wish she would just throw the tantrum already and maybe use some of those punching skills Dixon has...lol

Yeah, I watched the episode this morning and whatever interest I'm getting out of Annie is due almost entirely to the fact that Shenae is playing her.

Actually, at this point, Adrianna is really the only character that's keeping me invested in the show.

Im so used to her dressing as Darcy that the bright tights are someting to get used to on her, but I really have been liking her style. Thanks for posting!!!

At least they made Annie a little bratty this past ep. She was less perky.

I don't know. I'm always reminded of that theater saying that it's hardest to play the good character.

They aren't always endearing, but people like them do exist. But even innocent characters can have shades, and I hope that's explored.
