Season Four Discussion: Honestly, the paint and feathers thing seemed like a good idea at the time.
Ahhh....Season 4 when, thanks to his new best friend Danny, JT got pumped; Chris and Liberty rocked out to Buck 65 while Jimmy, Craig and Marco rocked out to "the Kid" and Spin's hair rocked Flock of Seagulls hair; Darcy really really liked Rick's glasses, and Snake really really didn't people eating fries in the MI lab and Spike paid for the pizza. Back when Tessa Campinelli didn't show up at Joey's doorstep, but Sydney and Caitlin did.
Back when Toby chased Ashley's crazy Aunt Sally around Toronto before heading off to the island; Sean headed head to the northern most tropical paradise in the world, leaving the ferret behind with Ellie. Not for long. Raditch got dumped; Hot Sauce got a new gig; Angie's brother loved her the most; Alex smacked the friendship out of Amy; Dylan thought he was the gay Hef; Paige got sold out by Oleander and then finally heard Hazel's roar; Manny had dibs on the cinnamon buns; Chester needed to be repeatedly punched and Jay and Emma spent some quality time together in a van down by the....ravine. So.......do your thing....... __________________

My all time favorite season!
I could watch it over and over again. I also thought Paige was so pretty that season, I loved her hair, haha. This season really showed off Jake's amazing acting abilities. SO many of my fav. episodes cameout of this season and "Time Stands Still" still makes me cry =(. __________________

Best season yet. Best couples. Best friendships. Some of the best storylines ever. The acting was wonderful, especially in TSS. I don't know if this show can ever get back to the height of that, but this will always hold up as a strong season to me.

Its 3rd for overall seasons (I'm still faved towards season 2 and 3), But it definitely was a really good season. It upgraded much that year. So much happened, it what seems like the most controversial season. The saddest episode aired. Some very humorous times this season as well (dreaming about Spins hair). Plus, some interesting relationships were exposed that season. Chris/Liberty, Emma/Jay, Liberty/JT, Spinner/Manny, Caitlin/Kevin Smith (you forgot that part). I just think one thing was wrong with this season...and that was how Jake Epstein seemed over-exposed. I got kind of annoyed seeing him allllllllllllllllllll the time. Thats probably the only reason why its not my number 1 or 2.

It's probably tied with season 7 as my third favourite season (behind 2 and 3). It had a lot of really good episodes (GIAM, Mercy Street, VC, and Secret) but I really hated Kevin Smith tearing apart Joey and Caitlin, and the Paige/Mr. O storyline sucked. As for TSS, honestly it's not my favourite episode. I mean I do like it of course, and I'm happy that they did the storyline the way that they did. But it would probably be like my 15th favourite episode overall or something. I don't really connect with the characters in that episode all that much. And the title of this thread says it all. lol
People have a lot of nostalgia for this season because I think season 4 is when a lot of people really got into TNG. This is more or less the time when the show blew up in the US (maybe season 3 too). __________________

Second favorite season, right after two. The too much Craig and Paige brought it down a bit.

You Craig haters....
Now that's out of the way, I loved this season. Rick's storyline was great, loved Bully Spinner, Spinner and Jay's blooming bromance. The only thing I didn't care for was that they had to throw an Emma story in there. The B plot of Secrets was better IMHO. TST stands out to me as the best two episodes of the season. Lots of good acting in it, lots. I wish that Degrassi could get back up there in season 4, because even though season 5 had some slightly good episodes it kind of waned a little. I guess you can't win them all. Loved the GDTR two parter...even the small moments between Kevin Smith and Caitlin although my Jaitlin self is hissing at me for even admitting it. |

I just watched 'Time Stands Still", the episode still gives me shivers.
Especially the last scene with the Playing God song. When Ashley's mom looks at the stretcher and says "Jimmy", and then when Hazel looks at Jimmy's empty chair when Paige learns that there was a shooting. Spinner laying on his bed when he throws the drumstick. I don't think that there is one episode that tops this one. Classic, and the best. One of the episodes that is a classic and that will effect me everytime I see it. __________________

Probably the creepiest moment ever on the show. Loved that storyline. I'm with the folks who say season 4 is the best. __________________

I still think the creepiest thing on the show might have been Ashley's hat but that's for another season.
Oh and speaking of Ashley, there was that one time when Marco looked like her and that was during this season. __________________
