That's so true. Emma's passion for the enviroment was cool and all, but to an extent. I mean, that was pretty much ALL she cared about. It always felt -- not only looked -- weird when Emma and Sean would kiss.

I love Sean and Ellie. Maybe it's because I'm new to the show but Sean and Emma just didn't seem like it was going to last that long. I think they had their time but now it's over.

Ellie and Sean "get" each other. I don't know if it'll last or not. They're only 16 but at this point in their lives what they both need is each other. Plus they look so cute together.

I love Sean and Ellie. IMO they weren't rushed by Degrassi standards. Most couples got together after one or two eps. No, I take that back. Most couples are more spread out... but I think the writers and I share a brain.

They wanted the S/El kissage ASAP.

And I'm new to the show but Sean's just seems kind of impulsive so IMO it makes sense that they got together right away.

I love in Take on Me how they sort of kept reassuring each other:
Sean: Guess I got to you.
Ellie: Dream on.
Sean: You don't seem scared by me.
Ellie: Nope. You don't seem freaked by me.
Sean: Nope.
Ellie: Are you freaked now?
(Shows her cuts. He touches them, and then we have the handholding)

And then later...
Sean: So I don't freak you out either?
Ellie: No. Not at all.
(Aaand there be more hand holding. I think they're into that. LOL)
