My stupid computer was acting up at home on the weekend so i couldnt post the blog. Anyway, Sarah is amazing. I am so glad that we can at least get a glimpse of her and hef life. It is about time that Liberty fans get some info on this girl. I love blogs and fashion18 for making this happen. I know I sound like an absessed fan. I promise you I am not ; it is just so nice to see positive media abt this girl but....I am still her #1 fan.

Sarah does have great legs. I'm not sure if letting a bit of Sarah's look fuse into Liberty's would help ratings, but I almost wish they would. Do you think Sarah will be invited to do a podcast for the n? I doubt it, but it would be nice. She always gets jipped out of doing these special events for the n.

Also, I feel like my request for a link to that etalk daily event was ignored. Anybody?

I actually think incorporating sarah's look would grow the fabase for liberty's character, i jsut wouldn't want ppl liking ehr for superifical reasons. I like characters that I can my interest based on storylines and their personalities, I wouldn't want ppl liking her cuz she's gorgeous, especially in the degrassi world, where it means the character then becomes superifical or vindictive.

Here's another Sarah picture. I notice the biggest difference between Liberty and Sarah is that Liberty doesn't wear makeup. There was a little in TEOTH. I wonder if she'll wear makeup in S6.

^ Vintage I noticed that they gave Liberty a little lip color in TO2 so maybe she will be wearing a little more make up in s6. I'm not confident but u never know.

I forgot to report that while I was watching the MMVA's last week, Sarah and Adamo were part of the audience for MTV2. It was so shocking to see her. Neither her or Adamo was saying anything. They were just laughing along with the rest of the audience and looking into the camera. They may have said something earlier but I didnt see the entire program. Sarah was wearing a white tank top (I think that is what it looked like) but she looked cute. She was wearing contacts again.
Like you Vintage, I wonder if Liberty will wear her glasses in s6 or if they will incorporate Sarah's contacts? Personally I think either is fine bc Liberty appeals to me with her glasses so without them won't make a difference. I can picture the show using contacts though with the whole new "image" base the show seems to have adopted.

Where's that picture from, Myra? It's cute. I notice that Sarah/Miriam seem to hang out more. What does MMVA stand for? I could see them incorporating the contacts into Liberty...maybe. The old series often incorporated actors' traits into their characters, but I think it worked better for that show because there were so many kids. I don't know if Liberty will have a new image.

Shute, I meant to say MTV music awards. I guess I am excited for the mmva's which is short for much music videa awards. Much music is the canadian version to mtv america. sorry.
anyway, sarah and adamo were in the audience of mtv2 while the the hosts of the show watched and discussed the mtv awards.
that picture is from the actra awards that sarah and mariam attended.
Ya it seems like they are really good friends now.

School's Out For Summer

Yesterday was a momentous day. As of 11 a.m., I was finished school for a whole TWO months. It’s funny how the landmark you have been working toward since September has a habit of not setting in for a few days. As I sit watching Live with Regis and Kelly (which I never get to watch because I am always at school), it begins to set in that I have an amazing summer ahead of me.

Last night was quite busy, if I do say so myself (guess I’m living up to my FASHION18 nickname, “The Princess of Parties”). After my exam, I went out for lunch with a good friend and talked to my guidance counsellor about universities.

(On that note, I’m going to go out on a tangent. Sorry, I tend to do that a lot.)

Is anyone else stressing out about university? I’m a year behind my friends (because I’m so busy I took half a course load this year and will finish up my credits next year), so at least I can look to them for some guidance. But either way, I was looking for solid answers from Ms. Curry and I didn’t get them. Basically she said it comes down to campus life and, of course, location! So, do I choose a big school in a small town, a big school in the city, a small school in the middle of nowhere or, the option that seems non-existent, a small school in a big city? At least my counsellor helped me narrow down options. With a 91 percent average, she said I can get into any school I apply to (and even get a great scholarship). I think I’d like a job where I can use both sides of my brain: practical and creative. So, it looks like a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Communication Studies is the program for me. But where do I go now? I’ve been assured that it all will slide into place—but isn’t it fair that I’m a little skeptical?

Then I get this urgent call from my mom freaking out about our upcoming trip.

(Off on another tangent.)

Lemme just break the news to you guys: next Friday I’m off to China, Hong Kong and (the pièce de résistance) Tokyo.

I am beyond excited. One of the directors for Degrassi has already got me pumped up about Japan with all these amazing photos of teen fashion. I’ll be sure to take lots of photos and I’m definitely going to be on the lookout for Gwen and her Harajuku girls.

So, anyway, my mom calls me and says we have to get visas for China (since it’s a communist country you have to get government approval to cross the border) and they take a week to process, if there are no slip-ups. So I raced down to the Chinese embassy with the passport photos my mom and I had just taken (I always look like a criminal in those photos) and luckily got the forms—three minutes before they closed!

(Further tangent.)

Speaking of close calls, I had promised my best friend tickets to one of the best concerts this summer. But being an outdoor concert, I left it late to buy tickets because I figured a concert in an open field would have an infinite supply of tickets. This was not the case. Ticketmaster was sold out and I felt horrible that my procrastination had led me to renege on the promise I made to my friend. Luckily, dads are always there to save the day. My wonderful father found an obscure record shop that still had tickets and he bought me a pair. It is coming up this weekend and I am ecstatic. Ever since I bought Feist’s CD—which changed my life and will for sure change yours—I have wanted to see her in concert. So, this Saturday on beautiful Toronto Island I will be enjoying the sounds of Feist, Broken Social Scene, Bloc Party and many more. It’s going to be incredible. Equation:

Feist + Toronto Island + sunshine + BFF + school’s out = YAY!!!!

(Okay, finally, back to last night…)

After the Chinese embassy adventure I dashed back home, where I got dressed and ready for the CTV Client Appreciation Event at the fancy Rosewater Supper Club. Miriam and I enjoyed talking to a few local celebs, then headed back to her new pad for our favourite show, So You Think You Can Dance. I changed out of my gorgeous H&M dress and headed to an unofficial end-of-school BBQ bash at my friend Calynn’s house. She has a trampoline and a beautiful BBQ, so needless to say it was fun. From there we had developed an entourage and went to an amazing dessert bar at midnight. Mmmmm, banana chocolate waffles!

So, I guess the next time I write it’ll be from Tokyo, if you can believe it. So, enjoy the beginning of summer because it’s only going to get better from here.

SCREAMING OVER HERE.
Ok, so I got ticks to Toronto island weeks ago and I am going!!!! (still screaming)
it is being put on in sponsorship by the edge (rock station in to) I love me some feist -she will change your life - and i just cant wait. it will be amazing just being there to see and hear all the rockin bands and now knowing that sarah will be there...the hunt will be on. I will try to find her (and take pics) but this is a HUGE event so it might not happen. just thinking abt potentially standing or breathing in the same air as her is amazing and exciting. hehehe.

isnt sarah just so amazing to care abt what the fans are doing for the summer. and she appreciates the comments bc i have been commenting A LOT. she is so sweet and down to earth.
aaahhh, i really like this girl.
