In that picture, it looks like Ashley could be in the background. Her hair is longer and that could be her? Or maybe I am just hoping she isn't gone for good.

Well, casting can vary. I mean, season 4 gave us Mole.

I don't think of him as Sean's replacement. At least until things start disappearing around the school. And Jamie looks too much like Jesse McCartney to be a convincing bad boy. (God, I hate Jesse McCartney. All face and no talent.)

I think I would hate Jaime's(Peter) character if he all of a suddenly played a bad boy. B/c then that would seem as if he was replacing Sean. Obviously, he wouldn't fit in with Jay's group. But I kind of have a feeling that he might play the guitar like Craig or just become the goody-goody turned bad boy. He'll most likely be the goody goody, but you never know. I know i'm probably wrong though.

No I wouldnt say he looks like Shane. I have seen Jamie in person and he dosen't look like that. Plus for him looking like Jesse McCartney i can see what you are saying when he has long hair, but his hair is now short. So it changes his look quite a bit

Must just be the hair which makes me think he looks like Shane. If he does, and the writers intend for him to be the replacement Sean, they should be kicked in the head.
