Agree very much, Mayberry. I really wish he got more development than what the writers are dishing up for him. It seems like it's always one step forward, two steps back with him, at least that's what I get from the last ep. Peter could mean a lot to the show! They just need to pan out his storylines darnit.

Anywhoodle, Jamie updated his official site with some tidbits.. Teehee. I especially love the whole crash course drving.

I mentioned this over in the episode thread, but I'll mention it here as well. I think over the last 15-20 episodes or so spanning over the 7th and 8th seasons, the writers and producers have done a good job of developing his character. Although he was getting plenty of screen time, he was essentially a nothing character, existing to either be a boyfriend or a villain. With the band, his relationships with his mother as well as Riley, Darcy and even Mia, we've gotten a much stronger sense of what makes him tick. He's now actually become interesting. Well done, Degrassi.

I totally agree. And I think it's believable as well. There are some Degrassi characters that I feel have changed in an unrealistic way. But with Peter you get the sense that what happened with Darcy in season 7 changed him as well as her. It made him a little more compassionate.

The Young Artist Award people must love Jamie as much as his fangirls do.

He's been nominated for 2 Young Artist Awards!!! I think he already won 1 for season 6 of Degrassi, right?

One is for that movie he was in "The Tenth Circle" and the other for Degrassi. I hope he wins again!!!!

Dakota's definitely under 18.

She was 14 when she did Life of Bees, so I'm guessing she's 15-16. I just read about some of her upcoming projects.

100% Agreed. It's why I believe Peter and Darcy need to be together. They make each other better people. I'm really liking Peter this season.
