So is the movie worth watching? Or is it just going to make me mad?

The movie is worth watching, but only really if you like the pairings in it. That's my opinion anyways,

Lol! I really enjoyed it. =]
Some parts were a little silly, but it had some great acting from Stacey Farber and Cassie Steele.

Yeah, I think that Stacey and Cassie pretty much stole the show.

Barely. To be honest, I wasn't that big a fan of the movie.

Hey! It wasn't just because of the Crellie... I SWEAR. It was more in terms of the movie itself. I was hoping (or, at least, I think this may have been their intention) for it to be considered a good, solid movie... kind of like what you would think of your four favorite episodes... but.it.wasn't. It's not something that I would look forward to watching in the realm of Degrassi episodes.

I just didn't understand the point of the movie so I opted out. I was like, why? They really need to do a graduation special. I'd see the point of that. And I think Daniel would at least consider that too.

The point of the movie is the same with the show...make something enjoyable (and if there's a good lesson involved all the better) And throw stones if you must, but I think they succeeded.

Yes, but, along with that, Degrassi's also always been known to have a lesson or a purpose rather than it just being on the screen for entertainment. It's an educational show first and foremost. Before all the drama, couples business, etc. I mean, c'mon, we've had our share of hokey boring episodes out there, because, d'uh, at the end of the day, Degrassi's suppose to teach of something.

With all that being said, I'm glad to see Ellie's dad in there... but as someone pointed out somewhere along the internets, it felt as though it didn't belong in all the crap thrown in there for the movie (the word crap can be interpreted loosely, thanks) and should have been taken care of during the actual series.

Was that on DNG_U? I remember one of the reviews saying that, too. That goes back to my point about why should I watch this? You could've done all of this in an actual show without all the movie business. The show's already had two movie-focused episodes. Sigh. Anyway, back to Sellie...

I think if I hadn't written My Invitation I'd be more upset. Thanks Joa for pushing me to write it.
