I so loved the old Degrassi when it was out. They're my age now though

Wheels and Joey were my crushes

And where did they come up with these names?

Snake, Wheels, Spike...

Wow, they did have a lot of weird names. But at least they're unique! I haven't watched a lot of old Degrassi, just certain clips, but they were all so cute. I watched the one where Joey was afraid he was going to fail school.

I've seen clips of old Degrassi and some episodes. I saw "It's Late", where Spike finds out she's pregnant with Emma. That was a pretty good episode. I think the other one was called Smoke Screen, where Caitlin was rapping about the environment. I hope Chris doesn't rub off on Emma and she'll start doing that, too..

I grew up in Canada so I watched Degrassi when I was a kid and I wa sso in love with Joey Jeremiah. When I saw the new Degrassi had some of the older actors on it, I couldn't resist!!!

A couple of my favorite episodes of the old Degrassi are the one when Lucy makes a scary movie with the gang starring in it and the other is when Joey has to walk through the cafeteria naked. That was so funny!

I forgot about Lucy! She had a cameo in Deceived. It opens in Goldie Hawns lofty, artsy workplace

I grew up watching this show as well - loved Joey, Caitlin, Snake, Spike, Wheels, Stephanie, the twins (I can only remember Heather...was the other one Angela?)

I remember the eps you mentioned, I remember the one where Wheels was going to run away from his grandparents and where he stole from Joey's family, I remember a science fair project that related to an eating disorder storyline (how vomit eats away at your tooth enamel), where Shane was injured, and where Spike's friend (Liz - I think) wrote on one of the twin's lockers because she found out one had had an abortion. I remember a lot of eps. Truly a great show.

I loved Degrassi in the good ol' days.

I probably like the original series more than tNG just cause no couple can compare to young Joey/Caitlin.

K and I'm sorry but Heather and Erica were realllyyy ugly lol...I couldn't believe it when Erika got pregnant later! Total shocker :p
