So I haven't watched past 206. Maybe I can blame it on my refusal to accept that these two break up. I was team Shiny before. Now I really like these two. Why does Degrassi have to do that?

They do love to give couples some development just before they crush them. They're rough like that.

I´ve never been fond of Shiny (never could warm up to Shay) but fast got glued to Tola this season. And in the end I didn´t like at all how they couldn´t find a better setup for the breakup than to portray Shay as the better choice because we should assume Lola as too dumb for Tiny and Shay his heroic intelligent life saver. :/
The only way I might find Shiny interesting would be if they´d make it a working threeway relationship with Lola. At least Tiny more or less said, that he liked both of them.

I like both relationships, but having seen them play out, this one is probably my favorite.
