Jonah Haak

While he used to be a bit of a troublemaker, Jonah has seen the light and is ready to make new friends who share his strong faith.
While he may have given up all his vices, Jonah's kept the rock 'n' roll. *

Jonah was once the type of dude you would have seen hanging with Zig.
Now, Jonah has seen the light. He’s given up the sex and the drugs – but has kept the rock n’ roll.
God had a hand in getting this quasi-emo “guylined” punk on the straight and sorta narrow.
Jonah is ready to make some friends at Degrassi.

Ehren is playing new grade 11 Jonah but he is no stranger to one cast member on set; Eric Osbourne.

That is interesting that he won't be introduced right away. I wonder how he will be brought into the series. If he isn't seen in the halls in the premiere with friends or in class or whatever, it makes me wonder if he will have a more powerful impact in his first scene. Given up all his vices - just out of rehab and ready to attend Degrassi?

Sounds like tonight's episode has a Becky plot. I'm betting that she is one of the first that Jonah interacts with...at least in a meaningful way. A conversation about their religion? The dude she was matched up with in that online dating site wasn't right for new Becky. This guy might be. Although I wish that Becky wasn't making identity decisions based on what guy she dates.
