pat_mastroianni Can I just take a moment to say a big thank you to these 4 crazy kids. 8 weeks ago I got a request from @officialfxc to pull together a degrassi tng reunion. Without hesitation @miriamkatherine26 @cassandrasteele @shaneykipps and #jakeepstein were on board with full enthusiasm. These four dropped everything, one flew into Toronto, another delayed going to a best friends wedding. They all broke up their last summer long week weekend to be available and help @degrassitour create a once in a lifetime event. Thank you so much guys. The devotion you showed your fans is the reason why they have such a fond place in their hearts for you and the show. Even though you had never been to a comic con, you trusted me to keep it all together. You were all great and I hope the wonderful comments we’ve all been reading shows you that. During that recent panel at the Fan Expo, Pat mentioned that he had talked to DHX about a Degrassi project. Here are the details of that pitch. Nothing came of it, which is too bad. I would have watched.


pat_mastroianni- I had to show you the concept that never was. For months my friends*@chapterhousecaand artist*#caanangrall*worked so hard to prepare a proposal for DHX Media (owners of Degrassi) but unfortunately it was a non starter. We wanted to initially offer a graphic novel and expand it to an animated series with the actual actors doing the voices. Even though we couldn’t get any traction, I needed to show all you*#degrassi*#narbos* how talented*#caanangrall*is. This photo is a small mash up of all the work and effort he put into the proposal. FYI, you can’t pitch a concept to a network if you don’t hold the license for the show.*#degrassiadventures

Was it an old episode? I don't really know the status of that show. But I know he was on it awhile ago. His fictional stepson Epstein was on more recently but his love interest was killed off so he disappeared. Unless if that was the President Kiefer Sutherland show.

Anyway.
