A man of few words, Degrassi’s new heartthrob is good with his hands and quick with a grin. Jake spends most of his free time at the cottage. After his mom died, he and his dad renovated their lake cabin in her honour. All of Jake’s shirtless hard work eventually paid off…especially when girls started admiring his boyish good looks and strong physique. Let’s just say Jake’s made out with his share of bikini clad Muskoka girls. But he never let them get in the way of the stuff he truly loves: watching sports, hanging with friends, fishing, and camping. He’s a guy’s guy who doesn’t play games and means what he says – all with a good dose of humour and charm.

Excellent opening post. I especially like the semi-colon between the thread and the 02.

Happy birthday to Justin! Jake left Degrassi way too soon!

According to IMDB he's got a few other projects up and coming in 2014: Maps to the Stars, Big Muddy, and Lost After Dark.

He was also in the Saving Hope episode "Vamonos." His scenes were on YouTube but were deleted. So no link. Boo. I catched him in the Lost Girl episode "Delinquents" and I really liked that one. I should do a rewatch of that.

So they've finally released some photos from Map To The Stars but no Justin

But at least his character in Big Muddy has a last name so hopefully that means a bigger part. I feel like Justin has the talent, charisma, and potential to actually be a really successful actor but I guess time will tell. Does anyone know if he did pilot season this year?

At any rate, it'll be fun to see him with Sarah in that slasher movie though. Even if it's B-movie fare. It's still fun.

Justin has a blink and you'll miss it moment at the end. BTW, even though I didn't notice her, Niamh Wilson (aka Jack) has a big enough role that her name shows up in the credits with all the big names at the very end.

YAY! I'm gonna guess he's playing some kind of boyfriend/friend role. The movie itself looks completely bananas. Niamh's in it too? I feel like these Degrassi kids keep making movies in pairs: Chloe/Luke, Shanice/Jahmil, now Justin/Niamh...

Justin will be in a homage of an 80's slasher movie. Sarah Fisher who plays Becky and Kendra Timmins who played Missy will also be in it. This looks really good. I'll be definitely checking this out.

Oh Robert Patrick... I'd check this out for him even if Justin wasn't in it. Plus I love a good B-Movie parody.

But yet again Justin is barely in the trailer. Come on, Hollywood! Give this kid a good lead part already!

^ I recognized Robert Patrick but couldn't remember where I'd seen him so I went to IMDb and AHA. The Faculty and Bridge to Terebithia. Boom. Mystery solved.

Also, since Justin isn't top billing, my guess is he's gonna get killed off.

I totally agree. He's so flipping talented. He's going to be getting more and more roles.
