As far as I remember, they still were together, when she left. There wasn´t even an official separation, just Owen mentioning at his prom, that Anya obviously at that point wasn´t in his life anymore.

I was thinking about if she had continued the party girl route and expected him to go out every night to the club as opposed to working out for the army. From what I can remember it seemed like coked up Anya was becoming a turn off for Owen. I just remember being surprised he was into the army and less partying. That was a cool subtle redemption moment.
