Ugh... I wish she HAD told him when Jane cheated on him with Declan. I mean, I love Spinner - he's my absolute favorite Degrassi character (along with JT) - and so when Jane cheated, I pretty much lost all respect for her. He didn't deserve that. I mean, yeah he was a jerk back in the earlier seasons, but he'd come a LONG way since then - especially after indirectly getting Jimmy shot. And even though he bullied Rick, I feel like his anger was justified because Rick did put one of his friends in a coma. But the whole thing with Jimmy was a wake up call, I think... and then he just went through hell and back, trying to atone for what he'd done, and finally got a girl he loved - and who apparently loved him back - only to have her cheat on him? What the hell?

... and then he married Emma.

*facepalm*

Damn it all! SPOLLY J SHOULD'VE HAPPENED! At least it made more sense than Spemma!

Not to mention how unfair it was for all those Semma fans. I stopped caring about them after season 6 but I always thought that those two characters should have been the endgame.

I remember I hoped that at the last moment Spinner would change his mind and instead of marrying Emma for the second time, he'd propose to Holly J. I think that if Spinner was an option after Danger Zone Holly J never would have looked twice at Declan and Sav. Even now, if he suddenly showed up in her life and wanted to get together, it would cause old feelings to come rushing back. Or at least, that's what the shipper in me likes to believe

I was more of a Sean/Ellie shipper, but to be honest, I really didn't care for Emma or Sean. I didn't hate them, but I didn't like them either. I was more or less indifferent to them - kind of like how I feel towards Jenna's character now. Basically, I had absolutely no emotional investment in them.

They deserved each other, though.

I feel inclined to agree. Maybe I'm deluding myself, but I really think that to Holly J at least, Spinner would fall into the "first love" category, even if her feelings weren't returned. He was the first person who treated her like a person, instead of hating her from afar or being terrified of her.

I always lioves Sellie, liking Semma never stopped me form appreciating what they had. I never thought of them as a couple that was supposed to last but rather I always believed that their relationship was supposed to help both characters grow and move on. I always found Semma to be passionate, while Sellie was more about comfort and understanding. I like both aspects in a couple After season six I pretty much became indifferent towards Semma as well. It usually happens when I don't ship them especially hard (like I did with Jiberty- That couple is my OTP). Now back on topic.

Spinner was definitely Holly J's first love. He made her feel good about herself, special, even if he didn't return her feelings.
