Frankie Hollingsworth/Sara Waisglass #1: She'll rock the runway and then geek out backstage to comic books.

The future of Degrassi is looking bright with this one. So far I really like Frankie and I like the way they took their time introducing her via her relationships with Miles and Zoe.

She didn't have a big role in tonight's episode, but Sara really brought it tonight. That scene with Frankie and Zoe outside the courtroom was terrific, with great performances by both girls.

Completely agree. One thing about Sara she makes the most of her screen time. Loved the Zoe/Frankie scene. Really intense and just another moment from last night's episode that showcased how actual teenagers react in these situations.

I too enjoyed the Frankie/Zoe scene. I was hoping for a variety of reactions from Zoe's peers and that one lived up to my expectations.
Anyone think that Frankie could have an eating disorder plot in her future? I hope it carries on longer than Emma's if there is one. __________________

We're not the only ones who were impressed with Ana and Sara the other night. The following was posted by Brendan Jeffers, aka the unfortunately named Vince:

Anyway, an eating disorder does make some sense as we've seen that she has some body image issues. If they do go that route I do have some confidence that they'll give this story line some time as I think they've done a better job of that in recent years with major story lines. That's probably a byproduct of these seasons having so many episodes. __________________

What if the eating disorder carries out for a season or so, Frankie isn't fully recovered from it when she gets pregnant, and miscarries? I've been wanting to see a miscarriage since Jenna.

A: you haven't seen it yet, but it has to do with cheerleaders, peer pressure, and a whole lot of teen hormones. Q: do you like playing a twin A: It's one of the best parts of being Frankie! Q: who would you like to have more scenes with? A: Everyone! Q: can you tell us when the first episode airs? A: it's not finalized yet but we'll let you know as soon as we can! Q: i'm sick make me feel better A: wanna hear something weird? I'm sick too! (colds suck) Q: any happy moments to look forward to in S14 or is it all drama? A: Drama, Horror, Love, Comedy, degrassi has it all! __________________

I said it before & I'll say it again: If they are building up Frankie to be the new Emma, Clare, or even Maya (In prep for when both Clare and Maya are off the show) and have her be the new "main girl", I won't object.

I think that it is likely we will be seeing more of her next season. Hey, does Zoe and the rest of her friends know about her relationship with Winston? Have they judged her at all for it? Is that why they weren't at the dance? (excuse me, my brain has been foggy)

^ They weren't at the dance because they were rained in due to the storm, I believe. Or maybe they just wanted some alone time. Regardless, I'm sure they know about Frankston because of Frankie's plot in Hypnotize/Out of My Head.

And of course Munro has to be there. Probably the q&a I liked the most was what was their favorite scene to shoot together. It was when they brought Zoe breakfast. And the second is yet to come! They said it is "emotional and dramatic." __________________

She was pretty memorable with her family in "...spirit." Cute banter with Miles about his sexuality and seemed like she was doing that to try to diffuse the situation. I wonder if that is the role she plays in their dysfunctional fam often.
I can't remember if we saw her interact with Zoe or not though. We didn't did we? I think I would remember. Or maybe I was just focused on Zoe vs. Becky. I should do a rewatch - I enjoyed the premiere quite a bit. __________________
