Oh, I loved every little bit of drama and sarcasm we saw with her. I realize she'll eventually be toned down (that's what this show does), but I hope they keep her in this mode for at least the next block/season of episodes.

I wonder if in her own twisted way she thinks she is helping. "How far would you go to protect someone?" Of course I think she is also using the drugs to keep Miles under her thumb. Scary ****! But I love it. Haha. This kind of character is new to Degrassi and I'm glad they are getting to go there since it seems they really watered Imogen down.

I just wanted to make note of this.

I live for her commentary. "I wonder if he's going to remember that." I think Esme might be blacklisted from the Hollingsworth mansion so who can her next victim be? Zoe. Zoe! ZOE! That would be a real battle of the wits.

I love these Off Sets! Reminds me of the Unscripted episodes and I miss those. It doesn't feel as special or...snoopy stalkery...as the early 00s though. Social media has spoiled us!

I'm allergy free so I feel bad for her though. That has to be an inconvenience to not be able to dive into that delicious breakfast spread at the Hollingsworth mansion. All that jam (jelly, I call it jelly).

I call it jelly too. And yeah, I've been lucky about not really having any allergies. I have a nephew who was lactose intolerant for the first few years of his life and thus now can't stand the sight of cream cheese. That makes me really sad.

Now, that I think about it, they really haven't done the whole allergy thing with a Degrassi character, have they? I have to imagine there are countless kids watching who have to deal with that every day of their lives so having a plot showing their not a "weirdo" (sorry, Epstein) might not be such a bad thing.

Oh that makes me very sad too. Bagels and cream cheese has been my staple these past few weeks. I like the idea of having an allergy prone character! I don't think they have done this. Is it common? I can only think of that Freaks and Geeks plot with Bill's peanut allergy. Would love to see Degrassi do a variation of that. One of my favorite episodes.

I just love how openly embraced the new cast members are. They always seem so happy to be there.

They do always seem so opening to newcomers, and I'm amazed how many stay so close after the leave the show. I've always thought that speaks well of Linda and Stephen and atmosphere they foster on set. Yes, there's others involved, but it all starts with them.

The more I think about this food allergy thing, I like it. I wonder if friends might unintentionally start to avoid making plans with you (person who is allergic) after awhile. Because it could be seen as or assumed to be an inconvenience. They think you won't want to go. Hurt feelings could happen very easily.

This plot wouldn't work for Esme.

That scene has really grown on me. At first I was like really? Are we in grade school? But I like her exaggerated expressions and the fact that she doesn't care combined with Miles blank, clueless face.

Again, all I ask is for her keep this persona for at least one more block of episodes. We know they're going to take the edge off her, that's what the show does, but if they can at least give us a little more with this Esme...
