When Riley is accused of gay-bashing, he's ostracized. Would he rather be a "homophobic jock" or gay... or is there a third solution? And when Sav finds out about Anya's secret life, he feels betrayed -- and a little weirded out. (TeenNick)

Okay, here's the deal. These episodes are listed as being on MuchMusic tonight. In theory, though, Much isn't supposed to air those episodes until the day after they debut on CTV, which would mean, listings or not, they'll show up next Monday.

If they do air tonight, then do your thing here. If not, I'll lock this baby up and we'll do it all again on Sunday.

I'm just glad we got two MJ song titles this season. Can we get some Janet next season writers?

Much aired a repeat of Just Can't Get Enough. Looks like we'll have to Sunday to see these episodes. And with that, well do this again this weekend.

Best episode of season 9 by far.

They did a really great job showing Riley's inner battle. He was definitely verrry confused.
Loved all the Peter/Riley scenes. They will never be more than friends, but they definitely have one of the best friendships on the show right now.
The lifeguard was hot. No wonder Riley liked him.
I found it highly amusing that Riley googled "how to not be gay" and going to one of those creepy therapy programs was interesting.
Riley has serious anger management issues. It definitely wasn't just the steroids making him like that in season 8...

The best scene was the very last one, when Riley tells Peter that he's gay. That was sooo sweet!!!!!! I'm wondering what else will happen for Riley in the future. So far, he has only told Peter. So it seems like there is opportunity for more storyline. But he also said that he doesn't want to come out in high school... COME ON writers. They need to give us more.

As for the other plots, I didn't really care for them. I don't really have anything to say

A Plot:
Amazing! I really enjoyed it! I'm sad we won't see more Riley/Fiona. But Riley/Blue was kinda okay with me. It seemed random but at least Blue isn't hanging around Holly J's plots. I like Zane! From filming spoilers it sounds like we will see him again and I am more than okay with that.

The Piley scenes were great! It's amazing how much more likable Peter is with Riley than with Studz. I thought them trying to pick up girls was great. "It's a 555 number..." hilarious! I love their friendship so I was happy in the last scene when Riley admitted he was gay. Peter was funny too "Can't say I'm surprised"

B Plot:
I actually kinda liked it. This was one of the few times I liked Anya. And Leia was annoying but much more bareable than usual. The LARPing plot was an interesting idea. But I found it a little boring because I'm not into that kind of thing at all. This episode just reminded me how much I don't like Sanya. Sav was annoying again (but we finally see his short hair!) it reminded me I only like his scenes with Alli.

C Plot:
I am not wrighting Dave and Jenna off yet. I think we'll be seeing Dave's crush on her again. And Jenna may warm up to him. JT wrote Liberty off in the beginning and look what happened with them...

ugh... I hope that "a guy who's right for you" doesn't mean we will see KC and Jenna dating soon. Although I think it's good they build up Jenna's crush on him even though I hate the idea of them together. I was hoping it would be resolved in this episode, but looks like the triangle will be saved for a later episode. Looks like this was just to really introduce KC/Jenna interaction.

I loved the Dave/KC friendship! I saw this coming in 904 and I am so glad it's really happening. They are awesome together. Also yay for Dave, Denna, and Klare fluffiness. I like the Clare/Jenna friendship and I'll be sad to see it all screwed over when Jenna backstabs Clare.

Jenna's a cheerleader now. Looks like she'll be spending lots of time with the basketball team. I can see that being a factor in KC/Clare growing apart. But I still think they'll end up getting back together once KC's big storyline plays out.

Did you see the name of the guy running that thing? Gerry Halliwell. Hah!

More on these episodes later. I will say that I liked 907 a bit more than 908. It seemed like the plots flowed a little bit better during that episode. Both were good episodes, though.

Oh and I'm still pretty amazed (in a good way) at Jenna's willingness to be "dumped" by Dave.

I'm also convinced that 's "maintenance' was because of the shock waves that went out across North America when it was discovered that Blue actually had something to do in an episode that didn't involve Holly J.

That wrestling scene between Riley and Peter was quite possibly the most fanservice-y thing I ever seen Degrassi do. I was clutching my pearls throughout that scene.

These episodes were really good and they dealt with quite a lot and it still flowed nicely.

A-Plot: Man, Riley is messed up and it wasn't just the 'roids heightening his anger issues. There is a lot of self-loathing there, I mean he did stuff with a guy before any of this happened so it's not like he's confused. The constant awkwardness with Fiona, Chante and the other girls had me cringing in second hand-embarrassment. Speaking of her, I don't want her friendship with Riley to go away so fast. This storyline is so far from done, there's still Zane to deal with and I have a feeling Riley is going to be outed before this is all said and done.

B-Plot: Sav and Anya are adorable and anyone who doesn't think so is a damn hater! Sorry for that outburst. The LARPing scenes just had me smiling the entire time and Anya's character really came out on her own so I feel a bit better about the both of them if they're on screen separately. No idea the art teacher was into all of the LARPing stuff too.

C-Plot: This was ok, mainly set-up. I thought Dave and Jenna would've work well, but Jenna is clearly gunning for KC. While Jenna's actress has come a long way, I don't think I'm ready to see KC/Jenna (JennKC? KJenn) yet because I still don't think the character is very likable at this point and Claire is just more awesome.

I'm pretty sure that scene was all for the fans! I mean that came right out of some fanfiction. It seems like the writers are actually trying to please fans this season.

Yeah, Anya was really cute in this episode. I'm not totally against Sanya, but I just don't think they treat each other right. Sav was a bit of a jerk to her. But I'm glad in a way because it forced her to really stand up for herself which I liked. I still think we need to see them break up to get more into their individual characters.

So agree! I still think there's a chance for Jenna and Dave. Maybe they just have to be friends first since that's how she likes her boyfriends as she told Clare.
I think it's too early for Jenna/KC too. I think this episode just showed that the only girl KC is really into is Clare. I loved all their little looks and things. I think whatever happens between him and Jenna will be an attraction and not a relationship.
You are so right about Jenna needing to be more likable first. Otherwise it will just feel even more shallow. Besides even with all the hints they've dropped they still haven't really given KC a reason to like Jenna. I mean at the end here he seemed to like her because she helped out his friend. That doesn't seem like something KC would just throw his relationship with Clare away for.

I KNOW! I thought the exact same thing as I was watching that scene.

ITA!! I love them, both as characters and together. I don't really mind if they break up, because I'm sure that they will one day get back together. They are both the shy, quiet, awkward type of character that I usually like best on TV shows

He's a hypocrite. What's worse is he's a boring hypocrite. I keep hoping he walks into traffic like in the premiere, with STUDZ not bothering to show up.

ok so i will say im pretty sure i love riley but i did have some problems with some of the stuff he did. For one, i swear the writers just kinda make his character stupider and stupider as he goes. I mean the whole thing with Chantay was just ridiculous. even the gayest of men know common curiosity. But with that said, if i was him i totally would have tired tapping that hot lifeguard ass! i dont care how in the closet he was trying to be, boy was hot. But all and all i loved it and i hope he gets a little action at some point this season.

On another note, why the hell did blue know the lifeguard was gay? kinda hot but when did Riley and Blue start hanging out?

Now as for the other two plots which i could really give a damn, i did think the Anya one was really funny. Everytime it came on i busted out laughing. But i swear, Leia just gets dragged along with every other plot. First shes stuck at the sex party with mia, then stuck with Danny's friends and now with Anya and her retardedness. Girl needs to get a plot of her own or just cut her loose. And another thing, when did her and anya become friends anyways? w.e.

Plot c i dont even wanna mention, it was just fluff and filler and took away from the other two. LAME

well i did enjoy the episodes, long live riley.

Oh and if you guys wanna take a fun test on the character of degrassi go here, its pretty fun.

Okay, first things first. Help me out Canadians. When is the earliest in the January-June phrase that this season is supposed to be taking place that someone would feel comfortable walking around outside in their bathing suit?

But, I guess as we all know there's no winter in Degrassi's version of Toronto.

On to the episode itself.

The best parts of the Riley plot were the scenes of him just alone struggling with himself. We really need to see his parents because someone that self loathing had to have had some help in that area from somebody at home. As always, the scenes with him and Peter were well done. They have a great ease together as friends. I also enjoyed the guys hanging and doing the teen boy thing in lifeguard class and hey, welcome to the party Blue . As much as I felt bad for Riley in this episode, I also felt bad for Fiona, who became roadkill in Riley's self destructive road. I mentioned earlier that I preferred 907 to 908 and one reason was because I things went off track a little bit with the de-programmer. I liked the idea of Riley doing it, but it's probably something that would have worked better if they kept most of that interaction off screen.

The Anya plot. I like her and Sav together as a couple, but I think I prefer scenes of them when they're doing stuff outside the couple. I totally bought into the idea of Anya appreciating the LARPing community because they made her feel special. A lack of self esteem has been one of the defining traits of her character, which is why she fell into sidekick roles so easily with Holly J. and to a lesser extent, Mia. Likewise, I can totally buy that among that group, Anya would indeed be a rock star so to speak. Speaking of rock stars, or supposed rock stars, one thing I did love about this plot was the way both girls were so sick of listening to their boyfriend's band do the same crappy songs over and over again.

As for the Dave/Jenna plot, I love the niners as a group so I was happy to see them hanging out. I guess Anya was babysitting. A lot. And Connor was on the island. A lot. Still, I'm enjoying the Jenna/Clare relationship (even if they're going to screw that up later) aas well as the Dave/KC relationship. And as mentioned earlier, Jenna's got a spot on my good side for a while for what she pulled off at the end there.

I just watched the ep again and I must say that Dave is quickly becoming my favourite new character!! He's so natural on screen. His scenes are always so funny and he's believable. I can't wait to see more of him.

As for the Riley/Chantay thing.. I think it was just his temper and desperation. He's not attracted to any of these girls, and he has no experience. So his only frame of reference is the other guys on the swim team, who clearly don't set the best example. If anything it's a critique of the straight guys Riley was attempting to copy

I'm still sitting on how I feel about this episode. I can't exactly pin point what was wrong with it. I think that at times it just felt slow with no climax or resolution with the a-plot? Or perhaps it was a slow pace and then bam we were hit with what we thought was supposed to be the main plot (because of an episode description) in the last 15 minutes. We really didn't get anywhere with Riley. We already knew he hates himself. For those who couldn't understand his anger, I hope they got something out of this. But the episode does a good job of letting us into his world. Regardless, I think I really wanted an explanation and more fleshing out of what makes him tick because he's really an interesting character. I don't doubt it's a confusing time for him and I understand his anger but at the same time I want to know how he ended up to despise his sexuality. I understand the secrecy and how he just needs time to get comfortable in his own skin. I even understand the rage. But there's something about his anger...something made him that upset about homosexuality. What is he reacting towards? I still feel like I need a why.

It was a good episode though with the intertwining of the plots with the message about self acceptance, how others view us, and what people will do to try to fit in with their peers. The writing does seem to be a lot smarter this season so I hope that this is just the middle ground of Riley's story this season and the writers were simply reminding us of his issues.

Loving every time Peter and Riley interact. I think every time they are around each other it just reeks of fan pleasing and it's freaking beautiful. I smile every time those two boys manage to touch in the hallway or are the one they call up whenever they are in a moment of crisis. I don't think I even need to address the wrestling scene. I'm actually glad Piley will never happen because then the writers can't destroy the ship with a break up. Just keep touching each other, boys. Friendship boy touching is hot.

This episode wasn't as great as I thought it was going to be. Although it wasn't bad, but wasn't as good as other Riley episodes. I think I was just really hoping to see some of his home life. I wanted to see his parents so bad so that they may provide some answers of why Riley hates himself so much. It was nice to finally see him admit to himself and to someone else that he is gay, though.
