| I found the episode a lot more interesting than I thought I would from reading the discription. I was surprised they threw the STI bit in there. I wasn't surprised to hear that Johnny lied about Alli being his first. I thought this episode showed a softer side of Johnny, which was probably necessary after the last Jalli episode. Still, I'm glad the couple broke up. Also, I liked the dialogue between Sav and Alli-- I thought it was really cute. The Jenna/Alli scenes were good too, I found her way more likeable in this episode. The b-plot, I didn't really care for. | |||

I definitely did not see that one coming. ![]() But I'm glad they worked an issue into the plot and it's probably one that many in the targeted audience should be aware of. I really liked the Sav/Alli scene as well as the way Clare and Jenna played the two different parts of the friend that Alli needed in this episode. That scene with Clare listing her reasons why Alli needed to dump Johnny for good was great. And yes, Jenna was definitely more likable in this episode. As for the subplot, I'll say this much. I think Peter's fellow band members kind of screwed him over. Danny was asking Peter what they expected him to do like the band is some kind of 20,000 seat arena filling band or something. Come on, movie or not, it's still just a high school band. I guess that's more abandonment issues for Pete. Overall, a pretty decent episode, with a better main plot than subplot. __________________ With her long hair falling And her eyes that shine like a midnight sun Oh-o she's the one, she's the one The avatar is all about the one and only Nekoshoujo | |||

| Wow, I really liked this episode. Almost as much as Heart of Glass. The ending of Johnny/Alli was a bitter pill, the both of them completely stole my heart in Heart of Glass. I can't believe Johnny kept that secret from her and Melinda's acting during the Google searching scene was tugging at my heartstrings. I hope this isn't the end for this couple unless the foreshadowed Dave/Alli takes off and I begin to like that more. The Sav/Alli scene was cute and surprise surprise I actually liked Jenna in this one. The actress is much more tolerable when she tones down the happy act. The friendship dynamic between Claire, Alli and Jenna is pretty interesting with Alli relying on Jenna for the STI bit (probably too ashamed to tell Claire) and relying on Claire for advice. The subplot was decent, don't understand why they couldn't somehow fit Peter in the band. This does fit in with his abandonment issues. Does this mean the band is going to the CW? Man, it would've been hilarious if Sav found out Alli lost her virginity before he did. __________________ Refreshing like a spring breeze. | |||

| A plot: Melinda's acting has gotten much better. I felt for Alli in this episode. But Johnny didn't really redeem himself for me. I thought this episode undid a lot of the things I liked about Heart of Glass. Can't a girl have sex on this show without something scary happening?! I'm 100% sure how I feel about the Alli/Jenna/Clare friendship. They work well as a trio, but I'm still wary of Jenna. And I felt like both Alli and Jenna treated Clare like crap in this episode. I was really happy when Alli asked for Clare's advice in the end. B plot: Really boring. But I did feel for Peter a little especially when he said he felt fired from his friends. I hope this means we'll see more Piley friendship and less of the Peter/Danny&Sav friendship. That always felt forced to me. | |||

| This doesn't air in the U.S. until next Friday, but I couldn't wait that long to see it. I had to know whether this was going to work out. In the end, I'm still left wanting more. Anywho, I liked the beginning. The Clare/Jenna/Alli friendship works, although I think I'm starting to like Alli/Jenna more than Alli/Clare. I know she didn't want to tell Clare about the situation because of her religious beliefs, but if she was really her best friend, she would have told her anyway. When Alli found the pictures in the locker, I thought it was really sweet. Obviously Johnny still has feelings for her, but he really messed up. When they were outside, I thought it was cute too. For a moment I really thought they were going to rekindle the flame. But then... he lied about being a virgin? I didn't think they were going to actually do this storyline, although I know many viewers already had their speculations. The Sav/Alli interaction was cool. All last season it seemed like they actually hated each other. I think Scott and Melinda did a really great job in this episode. Everything about this episode just broke my heart all over again except when Johnny shut Jenna down and said that Alli is the only girl he wants. Peter and Studz... eh. He kind of grew on me, but I think he just changed. He used to be a terrible person and all of a sudden friendship means a lot to him? Wow. Sav is kind of annoying as usual, and Danny is just attached to another character's hip as usual. Yawn. __________________ Ransom notes keep falling out your mouth. | ahh i liked this episode ad thought the acting from scott and melnda was great and the outcome realistic - i hope they get back together in the future though as although he's treated her bad in the past, you can tell he loves her, and that they have great chemistry together. __________________ I also don't like court-rooms and prisons....and men named Hank who make me their bitch | |||

| Scott and Melinda do have intense chemistry which is just awesome because their characters come from two very different worlds. Girls usually cave with guys they really like, that's true. I don't know if they'll get back together this season, but I hope they can at least remain friends. I think it would be weird if things were hostile between them. It will definitely take time for her to trust him again though. __________________ Ransom notes keep falling out your mouth. Mid-sweet talk, newspaper word cut-outs.
