So I was lurking around on the spoiler thread and there was talk the maybe Eli and his dead ex had a suicide pact and someone got there in time to save Eli but not her.
I know thats probably not what happened but I would really like to see that because it would serve as a reason why he's obssesed with death and it would be fresh. Idk I feel like they built up the fact that Eli's stroyline was totally mind-blowing and while a dead ex because of an accident is traumatic it isn't really that outrageaous

I'm thinking that if that IS Adam in the shot, then he probably just showed up and was just like, "Hey guys -- WHOA! PDA!" (Or "I KNEW IT!")

On the other hand, if it's some project (for whatever reason)... then the kiss most likely started out as, "Meh, we're friends, it's all good." And then as soon as their lips touched, there was a spark, and had Clare been standing probably a foot-popping moment (Princess Diaries reference, whoo!)... and then it became all passionate, leaving poor Adam either traumatized for life or still filming like, "This. Is. GOLD!"

@AllthatGlitters - No problem, don't worry.

@Nobantu - I agree, a traffic accident is so done. I've read so many books, watched so many TV shows, and seen so many movies where someone has a case of survivors guilt that it really isn't that sad or shocking anymore. It's almost melodramatic, especially if Eli went goth after the death of the girlfriend (please, Degrassi Gods, no).

I'm just not 100% convinced that it's actually a person there...I mean, if it is Adam, he must be crouching down or something, cuz he's definitely not short enough for his shoe and his hat to be that close together. And why would he be standing on the bench?

I understand why this theory would be appealing, but I just don't see it being true. Maybe I'm just too convinced that it was an accident. But idk...for some reason I can't seem to bring together the words that would explain why it doesn't fit for me lol Just something about the way he says "This is where I killed my girlfriend" makes me feel like suicide isn't an option. Because even if there was a pact, and he survived, and even if he did feel guilty, I don't think it would make sense for him to phrase it that way. For him to feel guilty enough to place all of the blame on himself, I feel like she had to be completely innocent, as in her death couldn't in any way have been her own fault. Idk, maybe that's just me.
