I've been curious about something: will Clare's parent's relationship ever be brought up again? I mean, surely if they were having problems, one talk wouldn't completely solve everything. And with the Eli vs Fitz thing, the plot was left totally open for a continuation, but will that happen? It seems like on Degrassi, once an episode ends, the issue is never really brought up again. Though I think it'll be different this season because we know Bobby comes up again eventually, but I still can't help but wonder about Eli and Clare's plots...

Well, im hoping when Clare eventually does get an A plot it will be brought up again. I mean, we never found out if they worked it out or not. Which is annoying.

I can't see the Eli/Fitz rivalry ending and never brought up again. I mean, yeah I know its Degrassi but that was the introduction to dark Eli, I mean Eli did say he got inside his head which leads me to believe that eventually Fitz will try something as reenge on Eli. Im hoping anwyays, because its a good plot.

It seems different this season though. Things don't just appear out of the blue, they are actually expanded from episode to episode. I hope they keep it that way!

So, I sort of hate to bring this up, but I've been thinking about it since watching last night's episode. While I still really like Eli, I wonder what his actions in Try Honesty mean for his character, and his relationship with Clare. You could see Clare's mind working as he told her what he'd done - it really bothered her.
He certainly made a statement with Fitz and refused to be the victim, which is cool, in a way, but he almost seemed obsessed with proving his reputation. I mean, he even said so. And I guess his reputation is that he won't back down?
It also seems like he's all about the revenge. Do you think he'd freak out on Clare if she did something he considered crossing him in some way? I'm just curious what you think, since Aislinn's indicated there's some drama up ahead for them.

I think its too soon to tell. I mean yeah his actions in Try Honesty were questionable but I don't think he would ever hurt Clare. I mean, like ive said before he just dosent come across as a violent person. But we don't know enough about his past to decide exactly what makes him the way he is.

They are definitly different, in all sorts of ways. But thats what makes them so great. Shes not all comfy and cute the way she was witj KC. their relationship is intense. As for the upcoming drama? well Ais did say that Clare would be dealing with emtions a lot and theere is still a lot of come with Eli. Plus the mixed signals thing. im sure they will have their problems, but i don't want eitherof them to change. Eli is who he is and so is Clare. I think the most important thing is for them to accept eachother!

Laura, I'm totally optimistic too! Still, I keep thinking that if Clare were my friend and she told me everything Eli had done with Fitz, I'd lay on the "be careful" pretty heavily.
I definitely had friends with super intense relationships in high school. Some didn't end so well (seriously - one of my friends broke up with a guy and then one of our other friends saw him in her neighborhood with an ax, and said he was just going to chop down a tree because it helped him emotionally...just...wtf).

Could I please be added? I was thinking, maybe we could think of some nickname for those two? Many other couples have them: Pillow pals(Jiberty), The Schemers (HollanJ), The rivals (Holly J/Sav) etc.

"The Lovers" is super cute, and makes a lot of sense. But I personally like how we have "Eclare" in the thread titles and such!
