I mean it's like a broken record. They had a perfect chance for an eppy of these two with Jimmy coming back to schook and how Hazel is dealing with him being in a wheel chair because that is not an easy situation to go through but the writers obviously didn't want to go there.

Offending how? That Jimmy's in a wheelchair...personally..then they shouldn't have had him shot and put there.

I don't see how that would offend anyone...some of the other eps could be seen as offensive to people but I don't know..can't speak for the masses

oh no...it wasn't stupid..it was a valid opinion. Trust me..I wasn't cutting on it, I just could see that maybe some people could be offended by it but i just think that would stupid if they did. Unless they're going through something like that and if writer's are doing it wrong..IMO

Well, I think Paige said something offensive in WEG. I read the script and she mentions "special bus" or something.

Ok..I'm not laughing to be mean but damn,..I've been telling everyone today that they must have ridden on the short bus.

See now that I can see as offensive to a point..but all they would have to do is cut it out. The-N loves to cut stuff out..so why should that stop anyone!

Mar, I didn't think you were cutting my opinion down. After I went and reread it I decided myself that it didn't make much sense. Especially when they have used the words such as fag, slut, gimp and Nikki mentioned how they used the word short bus. So them worrying about offend people no longer sounds like applausable idea to me.

Exactly...they can use more offensive words like "fag" but they can't show him dealing with being in a wheelchair. I mean they really haven't done that great of a job period showing the after affects of it all .

Yeah, I've been complaining about the aftermath of the shooting on various threads. They also did a bad job with Toby, who was the closest to Rick. There's no way he can be all depressed in BIB and then go aunt-chasing in VC. In real life, he'd probably still be depressed. But Jimmy's situation begs for a two-parter, another episode besides EOTT.

Everyone experiences grief differently. Perhaps Toby doesn't want people to see that he is sad so he is hiding it. However it would have been nice to see some scenes where Toby is grieving even if it is alone.

That's a good point but I would think he wouldn't do that. He looks like hes not strong enough to keep those feelings bottled up like that without going crazy.

you know..I know I've said it plenty of times...but I'll keep saying it. The writers don't know how to close or tie up loose strings. OR they just don't care. The only characters that we've seen any type of closure was with PAige's rape and Craig's abusive father
