Evan Williams and Paula Brancati (along with Andrew McCarthy and Kari Matchett) star in The National Tree about some kid who wins a contest to have his tree planted across from the White House and used as the national Christmas tree. Evan plays the lead and Paula is his romantic interest. It debuts on The Hallmark Channel this Saturday (Nov 28) at 8:00 PM ET/PT. Congrats to Aubrey "Drake" Graham for getting a Grammy nod! For "Best I Ever Had" in the Best Rap Solo Performance category. The full Grammy noms haven't even been posted yet...will he get more?

ETA: Drake also picked up a nod for Best Rap Song (that one goes to the songwriters). And friggin Taylor Swift got a Album of the Year nod?! And Kanye didn't get anything for 808s and Heartbreak? I need the Taylor Swift backlash to start NOW.

I think it's amazing he's getting attention from the Grammys. He deserves it for sure, his EP was amazing. I think he's really bringing something fresh to the rap scene right now.

As for our boy Aubrey (and yes, he'll always be Aubrey to me)....congrats.

Yeah, I feel weird calling him Drake when I've known him as Aubrey for the last six years.

But congrats to him!!! He so deserves his nominations. I'm so happy for him! And I bet the Degrassi crew is extremely proud of him right now!

As for Taylor Swift... I like her music, and no doubt she's talented. But the mix of all the praise she's getting and her FANS is really annoying. BLAH.

I know we've seen pictures from this same shindig before (they're from when a TRL show that these four did in October of '08, but these are bigger versions and I don't recall seeing that. And if so....well, whatever.
