I really love what the renewed Connor/KC friendship is doing for Connor's character. It finally feels like he goes to the same school as everyone else. For awhile there if felt like maybe Connor and Wesley were simply Dave's imaginary friends. I also like how we're seeing Connor use the skills he's learned but not to the point where he seems like a totally new person. And it's great that KC is being supportive of that. I can't wait to see more of them and of course more of the Connor/KC/Bianca academic team trio!

Connor/Bianca is an odd pairing but I have a feeling we're going to get some fun out of it.

AJ did a short little film discussing why he got into acting and how he considers himself a leader.

Sadly, even though it's only a few minutes long it's probably as much as we'll see of him on Degrassi over the remaining 20 episodes of the season.

Thanks for the link. I'll have to check that out because it always blows my mind how different AJ and Connor are.

Could we count Connor's appearances on two hands? I only remember him when KC and Connor were making fun of drunky Drew caught on tape. Ugh, I'm scared for Connor now that KC is gone. I wonder why the writers aren't more inspired by a teen with aspergers (meanwhile on Parenthood middle schooler Max has a hang up of no vending machines and wants to run for school president).

By my count, he had lines in 11 episodes, but never had very much, thus his line total of 46 for Showdown being one less than what KC's mother had.

His biggest moments were the StuffClareSays plot and the goodbye episodes for KC. With KC gone, I too am worried about his place on the show. The show doesn't seem to want to go very far with geeky characters- unless they decide to make them less geeky and pair her off with the new hottie on the show.

I was happy we got to see him involved in Adam's plot. It's probably too much to actually ask for a plot, but at least we got that.

I mentioned previously that I hoped he would get a girlfriend because I'm curious to see how a teen with aspergers (I always feel like I'm misspelling this) would handle that. There are so many complexities to dating that might puzzle and overwhelm him that might not affect one of his peers, like Dave. I too hope it isn't a dream sequence and end in some awkward moment. I don't think Connor is a forever alone.

I really don't think it is a dream, just because we saw two different kisses.

I'm not even sure how they'll deal with with the aspergers part of him being in a relationship. You never know with this show, sometimes the plot with Connor will have lots of references to it and sometimes there's nothing.

Assuming something does happen, I have to wonder just how it happens? What proves to be the spark?

The spark? My first prediction was that she was going to "help" him get his first kiss. I'm not sure I'm crazy about that idea but it kind of seems Degrassi-ish for them to do that. One of the fears I have about the possible pairing is that it will be one of those "the pretty girl has to learn to appreciate the nerd/outcast" kind of plots. It's not like my personal TV rule but I tend not to like those types of romances.

Maybe I'm just completely blanking on some obvious examples, but I don't think Degrassi does too many of those.

Adam and Connor seem to be friends at this point, so it wouldn't surprise me if their spark happens in some way through the Adam/Becky relationship.

I hope so. We definitely need more interaction between Snake/Connor on the show. I don't think they have had a scene together since his meltdown in season 11 where he got suspended.

Yeah, I agree with that. Actually, I think they really missed the boat big time by not getting that family involved when they had the chance and Amanda and Miriam were still involved with the show. Now, it's just Stefan, but I still think they could do a few things.

Oh and for the love of all that is Holy, bring his parents on the show at least once before he graduates.
