So I started this thread because I really liked their friendship this week. I thought it was nice that Katie went with Clare to the Interpreter. I also thought it was funny when they did their little high five.

I think its pretty cool because they're also friends in real life.

I hope we see more of them together.

Thanks for starting! I just love the friendship that's forming between Katie and Clare! I really hope we get to see more in the second part of season 12 this fall!

I really hope we get to see more of their friendship next half of the season. Surely, there's gonna be something else with the Clare/Asher storyline since when you go to the police about something it doesn't just magically disappear. So, I'm sure that'll give more reason for the Clare/Katie friendship to continue being shown!

These two were the highlight of the mid-season final for me! Loved when they held hands on the elevator. JustMe2000 tweeted that it reminded him of Thelma and Louise...that is a possible name for these two?

So, I've started making a list of my favorite Clare/Katie moments, and I find it really cool that they all have to do with their hands...that sounded weird... But anywho,

1. Katie and Clare's high five after taking down the hockey player at Clare's birthday party.
2. Katie and Clare's handshake when Katie agrees to stand by Clare in her plan to get revenge on Asher.
3. Katie and Clare's hand holdingin the elevator once they were at the Interpreter.

They're like hand buddies or something!

Add me! I love both their onscreen and offscreen friendship.

I've had a problem with Katie for awhile and mainly that was due to her not having "anchor" someone who she was selfless with. And it's strange because with their history I certainly didn't expect that person to be Clare of all people. Yet that's exactly what happened and I ended up really loving Katie in the finale because of it. I also think that these two balance each other out. They are similar in their positive and negatives traits and it works in this friendship. It's kinda a shame that this friendship comes so late in Katie's run at Degrassi.

I also feel like they have such a natural ease between them. I'm guessing this comes from how close Aislinn and Chloe are in real life.

I'm hoping for a lot more of these two in the fall episodes.

Totally agreed. It's so easy to hate or have a problem with a character like Katie when she's only getting personal storylines where there's one wrong and one right character. Like the Dallas/Katie two episode storyline. One had to be the bad and one had to be the innocent good victim. But, now with the Katie/Clare friendship we get to see Katie in a whole new light. She's being a good friend to Clare when Clare needs one the most.

I really hope that the writers give us more Katie/Clare friendship in the fall. It'd be disappointing if their friendship is only a one-two episode deal.

I hope their friendship lasts for a long time. It would be really nice for Clare to have someone other than Alli.
And I don't know why people hate Katie so much. I honestly love her.
