This took me back. I don't know if I would say that I ship them but their early scenes, like when she standing up for him against The Shep, are especially touching now. I could go for a season 8 binge watch right about now.

I have been playing enough mental what if with these two to search for a music video.



It really makes you wonder where the two characters would have ended up if Clare had considered Connor before the arrival of Eli in season 10. Would they (Clare and Connor) both stay mostly the same or become drastically different?

I don't think Clare would be all that different because I think they would've broken up by Eli's arrival and all the stuff that happened to Clare would've still happened but I think we might have gotten to know Connor a bit better since being Clare's boyfriend would've gotten him more screen time.

I can't really imagine them together romantically, but I did love their friendship in their early time on the show.

Me neither. It's a shame they drifted apart because I would've loved to see how he'd react to a lot of the drama that happened in Clare's life.

It just seemed like they had no clue how to write and develop Connors character. At least compared to some other characters, including Clare.

Outside of the occasional aspergers storyline I don't think so either. I think it went downhill for him when they broke up The Three Tenors friendship group. Connor/Jenna had a lot of potential but sadly they ended up becoming the background couple.

It's been mentioned by myself and others that they could use a more diverse group of writers and I think this is a good example why.
