Welcome! This thread is for anyone who basically hated Craig & Manny together. But remember: No bashing of people who like them, don’t try and turn anything into a competition or a war. That is immature and childish. This is not a place to do that. This is a place just to discuss hating them together. 5. only having sex with her once (but we have no clue why it happened only once. Perhaps Manny didn't want to do it a second time while he was with Ash, whenever they tried they get interrupted or they couldn't get the time alone, Craig wanted to be with Ash and not Manny)
6. the fact that even though he said was going to dump Ash for her, he couldn't. If he was really that into her a guitar wouldn't have a made a difference.
7. leaving her once the baby was gone

Reasons we prefer Crash
1. Because they had a relationship more then sex.
2. Because she was there for him.
3. Because he regrets cheating on her with Manny.
4. Because he couldn't dump Ashley for her.
5. Because Ashley gets him.
6. Because even Jake likes Crash better then Cranny.
7. Because Ashley wanted to know Craig loved her first, Manny didn't care.

Cranny's Worst Episodes
Take My Breath Away - This was supposed to show the cute side of Cranny, but did nothing more then show the disastrous ways. We see their date was horrible and Craig says Manny reminded him of his 5 year old half sister Angela. Manny was unbelievably annoying, decorating Craig's locker and telling him not to talk to Ashley. Craig wasn't much better telling her it wasn't the locker that he didn't like, but in fact it was her.

Should I Stay or Should I Go - A year later after Manny dresses more "mature", and Craig and Ashley have a fight, Manny is there. This is the episode that screwed up Crash. Manny chased after him, after he had a fight with his girlfriend and took advantage of that. Craig wasn't better himself accepting, because we find out that Monday and Craig hasn't returned any of her calls. We see Crash hook up, and Manny is hurt by Craig once more.

Against All Odds - This is where Craig tells Manny that "there's not much to miss, we only hooked up once" when she suggests he comes to the rave. That is a telling statement about how Craig never had any plans for a long term committment. Manny has to reassure him that there are no strings. Craig does show up at the rave, but we see more hesitation from him. He hangs out in the crowd at the rave and stares at her, as if he's not quite sure he should be there. Cranny then picks up their usual pattern of physical action, grinding to the music. Manny is fully into it but we see more hesitation from Craig. He pulls away saying "I should go. I have a girlfriend." Then we hear the line that will lead us into more disaster: "I can keep a secret." Once Craig hears that, he loses all hesitation. He figures Manny is happy with hook-ups and this pleases him.

This is the episode that tries Manny and Emma's friendship (a relationship should never alienate you from your friends). They have a different opinion on romance tactics. "It's evil but it's effective," Manny claims when describing how to go after another girl's boyfriend. Emma refuses to do that and is also the first to question Craig's intentions with Manny. But Manny insists that even though Craig has a girlfriend, he must love her if he keeps coming back to her. This episode shows how Craig and Manny are on different wavelengths when it comes to their relationship and shows their lack of communication in what they want in a relationship. This comes to a head in Holiday.

Holiday - What started off bad went to worse. Craig finally told Manny that she was the one and he was going to dump Ashley. We realize that he was lying. Which isn't shocking. Manny is ended up hurt by this as did Ashley and Craig.

Accident's Will Happen - Craig's extremely obsessive in this when Manny gets pregnant, thinking he can have a family. Manny later ends up having an abortion, and as soon as the baby was gone, he was too.

Bark at the Moon - Enough said. Craig told Manny she was his biggest mistake since coming to Degrassi.

1. The cotton candy was pink in the choking incident
2. There was pink on Craig’s locker that Manny decorated for him while he was telling her that he didn’t like her
3. Manny’s shirt was pink when her and Craig had sex which led to her pregnancy
4. Manny’s top and thong were pink when Emma caught her and Craig making out on her bed
5. Manny is wearing pink again when her and Emma have their name calling spat
6. When Ash finds out about Craig cheating, she sees Manny’s pink fuzzy sweater

Craig: All I'll say is that I guess I had sex with someone. Great, right? I wish. I can barely remember what happened. I do know this much - it wasn't with the person I planned or wanted to do it with in the first place, but instead with someone else...who's not so bad.
Craig: Mostly because I didn't want to call her back after she left me all these happy bubbly girly phone messages that just reminded me why things didn't work out last year. What was I supposed to say? That was interesting. Thanks, but...sorry?

C-- Craig. Craig's main goal in season 3 was to be a player, and most of the time he didn't put Manny's feelings into account. "If Manny keeps it a secret like she said she would, this could be the best thing ever! Dude, this could totally ROCK!! I'd be living out Spinner's fantasy! Like a rock star, just without the fame or money." After AWH, Craig is nowhere to be found, leaving a pained Manny. "i feel like he used me to get back at Ash for the constant greef she gives him all the time. maybe he had no feelings 4 me at all...maybe i'm just a slut..." Craig's mainly concerned what what he gets out of the deal, and Manny's esteem goes downhill.
R-- Respect. The apology in BATM didn't come out of left field. Craig has seldom shown any respect for Manny, except when she was carrying their baby. "I could have my girlfriend to hang out with, but I could have a little somethin somethin on the side for GTs." You don't reference someone you care about that way, nor do you call them a mistake, but Craig's been cold to Manny before (TMBA).
A-- Annoyance. Part of why the Chokers feel Cranny is problematic is because Craig often finds Manny's actions annoying. In TMBA and SISOSIG, Craig's checking his watch, rolling his eyes, or complaining about her phone messages."Mostly because I didn't want to call her back after she left me all these happy bubbly girly phone messages that just reminded me why things didn't work out last year. What was I supposed to say? That was interesting. Thanks, but...sorry?" Compare this to Spanny where Spin has always loved to hang out with Manny, bringing her to practice and getting out of work to be with her.
N- "Not now Manny." The thing that seperates Janny, Spanny, and Cranny, is that Cranny was for the most part a secret relationship. At first Manny was content to keep it secret, but then she understandably wanted the secret to end. Craig kept it up as long as he could, not caring about either girl. "I just got lucky so far that my girlfriend hasn't found out about my secret Manny thing. Man if she does.." Craig has consistently never given Manny what she wanted, what every girl deserves -- a healthy, open relationship that didn't have strings (the baby was the reason for their short-lived AWH relationship). Pre-baby, or post-baby.
N- No strings? Cranny's first time in SISOSIG had strings right from the get go. Craig doesn't clearly remember it and avoids Manny at all costs. "All I'll say is that I guess I had sex with someone. Great, right? I wish. I can barely remember what happened." Manny, in turn, believes it was the best night of her life and goes on to pursue Craig. She insists that "she can keep a secret", but later says she's been patient and wants Craig to break it off with Ash. The relationship will not have strings, but Craig isn't ready. He keeps making promises to soothe Manny, but never follows through. As stated before, his intention to play both girls, and keep Manny secret. Most of the strings came from Manny, and Craig thinks it will continue.
Y - Years. By no fault of her own, Manny and Craig have had little contact since AWH. When it has happened, it's been awkward (OH) or painful (BATM). In comparison, happy-go-lucky Manny returns when Spinner is around (even when Chester's around!). They both seemed to have moved on, and while the two have always had a bond, the writers have to go through greater lengths to repair the damage. Some of us prefer Manny when she's not in pain, but rather having fun at the car wash, telling her boyfriend about bad fashion choices, or hanging with friends. We want her happy, not saying things like, "ever since this morning when i realised that Craig still wants to be with his stupid uptight girlfriend and he just used me for sex..." Let her heal with someone else.

Why We Dislike Craig and Manny:

We have varous reasons to dislike Craig and Manny, But in genral it is how there relationship caused eachother nothing but pain. Manny with not having her and Craig's child, and Craig for breaking her heart a multiple number of times. For example. In TMBA he told her it was her he disliked but not the locker. A year later after sneaking around between his girlfriend Ashley's back. he played her as well after breaking his promise that he would dump Ashley and she was the one. Many can say it was because of the "guitar" she gave him that made him stay. But if Craig had really caed about their relationship with Manny. and if she really was the one, then he woud've dumped Ashley on the spot, despite the guitar. Another year later Craig told Manny that he had made a lot of mistakes since arriving at Degrassi, but that she was the biggest, and he wanted to take back what they have. The relatinship now is buried to deep and it'd be pointless to put them together now. It was buried to deep after Craig said Manny dressed like his sister. He only noticed her a year later after she started to dress more "maturely". Proving he only liked her becaouse she was hot. We want these two to be happy, but it's obvious they're not happy together.

Where to start. Too many to choose from. I guess the obvious answer is cheating on his girlfriend. But my answer is trying to get his girlfriend back after cheating on her, and then when he is ultimately dumped, asking out the girl he originally cheated with.


ANDREW:Let's end this right now. You don't talk to her...you don't look at her and you don't even think about her! You understand me?

CRAIG: I think you are. You don't talk to her, you don't even look at her. Ever again or you deal with me. Clear?

I'm not bashing Tom/Katie by any means; that's just the impression I get with them. We can never be sure, I suppose.
