Do you see phone booths around where you live? My inquiring mind wants to know. They seem to be rare here in Seattle. Which is a shame, I always thought they were adorable.

I can't remember the last time I saw a phone booth. Still see the occasional pay phone here and there, but no booths.

Of course, I remember using them at one point.

Saw Wolverine today. Lots of fun, though not the best movie. The best part was actually the actor who played Gambit

. I had no idea he was on Friday Night Lights. Almost makes me want to watch the show.

Okay so last night there was a post on ohnotheydidnt: Where are they now: House Arrest. All is fine and dandy until I get to this:

Notice that her IMDB lists her as an ACTRESS. Now, maybe it's a girl playing a male character. Or maybe IMDB screwed up. But my problem is that I swear I've seen her someplace else. Probably in another family or drama of the 90's. Someone else said they recognized her too. BUT WHO THE HELL IS IT? Anyone think the child in blue looks familar? THIS IS DRIVING ME INSANE. All day I've been sitting and running movie titles through my head. I swear I can see her.

And:

They just confuse me, that's all. No real reason. I just look at them and I feel confused. That's probably really shallow of me but the feeling is genuine.

I seem to remember her (the actress who looks similar to Alex) playing a bratty younger sibling or was a smart mouth. Wasn't a lead, I don't think. Sigh. This is like that memory I have of a 1970's or 80's movie with a big empty room and out the window is a long winding driveway...do you know how many movies that could be? I think it was a horror/thriller so everytime I see one I haven't seen before I'm all THIS IS IT. But it never really is. I don't know when I'm going to find inner peace.

Ha! I have my own movie like that. It's a British movie about this guy who's crazy obsessed with this woman to the point that every day she goes to work he breaks into her apartment and goes through all her stuff. Oh and he doesn't really say anything the whole movie other than a few lines on the day she catches him. The thing is not only can I not remember the movie (which I saw about ten years ago on cable one night), I can't even remember what she did after she caught him. Damn, I'm old.

Like my sis is annoyed cause she was a movie at her friends place and they don't remember what it was called and i can't find it online. It was some short stories, almost like the Creepshow movies. And the stories was, One was about people's hands talking in the middle of the night when the people was asleep. And was i can't remember, walking off their arms and back on or something but something about it ending with all the hands dying and all of them fell out of a window

. The second was about a guy who met a girl and he met her father, but he didn't approve, he was always saying to the guy that he had to leave and stuff and it turned out that the girl was a ghost and her father tried to warn the guy cause she was dangerous. She doesn't remember more, but she knows there was at least one more story. You think you ever heard about that one?

So I guess depending on who you're listening to, the Gossip Girl spin off is either dead or fighting a long shot with a few others (including Nina's Vampires show) for a couple of slots. Oh well.
