Taken from another thrad, but a paragraph that probably fits this thread better:

I'm definitely interested in seeing how they go about tackling this storyline, and just how graphic will they get. But, other than that very specific element, there's not much going in terms of interest and ways to sustain the relationship on the show for this couple. That could obviously change, but the writers will have their work cut out for them to sell that change.

Nope, not even with that element is it interesting!!! There's one thing that element adds to it: disgust, sickening, nausea, etc.

I desperately hope they don't choose Jimash to get more graphic with cause...*shudders*

Though I pretty much guarantee I won't watch those scenes anyway...too much of a weak stomach and too low of an anger threshold

Right now, they bug me so you can add me.

Oh, where to begin? They were fine seasons 1 and 2, in fact they were cute. But they had perfect closure, and HF was no indication as to why they should be together, other than Ashley felt sorry for him.

In any case, I agree with JustMe that once they get this plot, there's really not much else you can do with them, unless the writers pull a rabbit out of a hat and surprise us. If Spin/Jimmy weren't on speaking terms, I could see Ash playing a role there, but the repairing of their friendship got less time than Jimmy and who he should date, so that's a no go.

If we're to go on their history, Ash wanted to get away from Jimmy throughout most of their relationship. Their season 2 reunion was short-lived, and I'm not sure why either would want to make it work now. I saw no evidence to support this theory that Ashley makes Jimmy feel like a real man. They could've brought in a random girl for that. I saw more of that sentiment with that blonde lady in Secret, you know the one that says "Jimmy Brooks can do anything".

Never mind the fact that they haven't talked in about two years. And yeah, the EOTT wave was cute, but she didn't go to his party later on in that ep. If she can hang out with Craig on his birthday in GITM, after being so hesitant around him, she can show up at Jimmy's lame karaoke party. Likewise, the last person Ashley interacts with before going to England is Craig, so for us to buy that she has these sudden romantic feelings for Jimmy without first having CrAsh interaction, whatever.

In terms of how graphic it will be, I think they'll take the romantic approach since I assume Jimmy is losing his virginity here. They may show him unbuttoning her shirt, them kissing, and maybe Ashley climbing onto his lap. But I don't expect it to be AAO Cranny or even TITMH Pemma, where they are grabbing each other. I think what would make me most mad is if there's cuddling and they exchange ILY, because again, we didn't see jack leading up to this relationship. I don't know how they can make it half as organic as CrAsh, and even though I hate Cranny, it's probably more believable than Jimash is going to be.

I like Extinguished Flame, because I love the song Eternal Flame. Extinguished basically means there's nothing you can do with them, and that describes Jimash.

Oh yeah, add me please. Rant done, madness over. For now.

Ooh, how about another reason to go along with what I'm about to say:
Because he didn't even care that Craig cheated on her.

I mean, seriously! Jimmy didn't get pissed or irritated at Craig at all, and he seemed to be on his side, especially during the song competition. Yeah, great guy that really cares about her right?
