I have a feeling Peter will get better as the season progresses or at least we'll know why he's acting the way he is. They've never made a main character 100% malicious without there being a reason behind it. So, I'll see how the season progresses before I make my desicion on Panny.( I guess their sort of a guilty pleasure

). Mike/Miriam scenes are great and I'm looking forward to that and some more Jamie/Cassie scenes.

Now I'm starting to think they will draw this out, because it was never confirmed that Cranny's safe. We just know they're hanging out, probably dating, that's about it. It all depends on whether Ellie reveals her crush or not. Or if Craig cares.

you least expect helping out others (oh crap, I hope that doesn't signal Peter). The biggest obstacle would involve him actually being around her enough for him to be involved in that episode. It wouldn't be that hard if he was in school, but since he isn't, they'd have to come up with some other way. You'd like to think something else will happen with his character that's not listed or hinted at in his S5 bio. Right now, I'd just like to see him in an episode, but I fear we won't until 507.

Probably because of their odd history. I am not crazy about the couple but that seems like it would be a good Degrassi twist.

I think its kinda different for Manny because he hurt HER, not Emma. I think Manny has to forgive Peter to let everything seem okay. The fact that Emma is going out with Peter before Manny fogives him (if she even ever does) is pretty sleazy. Oh, but shes so nice to spare Manny's feelings about the whole thing</sarcasm>. Something tells me Manny won't find out about Pemma at all this season, even long after they break up.

Jay to be the voice of reason in 514/515, but I do think it's an interesting thought and as was pointed out, the show does kind of have a history of people you wouldn't expect being the one who helps out the main character of an episode when they have an issue. For instance, she might be the expected character, but I'm not really expecting Manny to be the one that helps Emma out in that episode, as I think she'll be too close to the situation.

So do we think Jay will ever go back to school? I'm not sure how he'll get back there, but I may be missing something.

I agree, especially after that whole 'no more lies' thing in Venus. Hopefully we won't have to suffer too long if Pemma is just a way to get us into the whole Spike/Snake/Ms. H drama. That will be hard to watch for me too. The only thing good coming out of that whole situation is the end of Pemma. I mean, can you imagine Pemma for a whole season?

As for Jay, looking at the character descriptions it seems like he'll just be his old self. I'm hoping there will be more to his character though. I'm not really sure if he'll go back to school again. He should since he's now a main character. I'm hoping he will so we can see more of him this season. Not sure on how he'll get back in either.
