, Liberty pretty much hated Emma with every fiber of her being. Manny is the closest thing to a good friend for Liberty, so combined with the fact that she also was pregnant at one point, it would make sense for Liberty to confide in her. But, even if she doesn't confide in anyone, you'd still like to think that Manny's pregnancy and abortion would be brought up by her or JT.

As far as Toby is concerned, I'm in a show-me mode with him. I could easily see him not showing up much of all between 504 and 513, including in 507/508, where given the storyline, it wouldn't surprise me if he basically MIA.

I don't understand why Liberty and Emma are suddenly buddy-buddy in the preview then. J.T. doesn't really hang out with Emma either, but I guess they are childhood buddies. Maybe Manny dragged Emma along, or Emma was just bored that night.

I'm kind of more hopeful that we'll get more Toby this season because I think they'll want to show off the younger class in preparation for a season six. Of course, Toby's still the odd man out, but I expect him to play quite a crucial role in Jiberty's storyline.

I'm starting to think we may see some CrAsh in the movie. The exec said it isn't a go yet and they aren't shooting until the spring. Oh, I hope!

Yeah there are a lot of signs that point to possible Crash in the [hopeful] movie. They have a lot they could do with them because there would be a lot of tension and things to resolve.

I scanned Melissa'a page from the Degrassi book while I was scanning Dan's. I really love the picture in the top right hand corner from the second one. 1 2

Oh, awesome! Thanks Kathy. I wish I could tape that first paragraph about Ashley on Ashley haters' foreheads.

I even agree with that observation from Melissa that Ashley could relax a little, which she was during the first half of season 4, actually most of season 4. I don't think the old Ashley could handle the events of VC that well.

Does Jake/Craig's page say anything about Ash?

It doesn't really say much other then them talking about her turning down his proposal and how that led to him discovering his bipolar disorder. Jake also talked about how pissed her was that he had to cheat on his girlfriend.

Somehow I think that Ash-bashers would find the description negative. =0/

He's saying everything I'm thinking. I should buy the book because the pictures look really good.

Yeah you would love the book especially as an old school fan. Hopefully Epstein will black mail the writers into ending Crash better.

He could threaten not to come back unless its for a storyline with Ashley. Of course, he'd have to black mail Melissa too.

Yeah!! And then the writers, since Melissa's interested in writing scripts, can lure her in with a writer's credit, then say "While you're here, why don't we put you in a scene or two..."

Melissa's so nice she'd probably say yes.

I just realized after watching Venus that Spinner and Ashley throw MUCH better surprise parties. I think thats ironic because those are the 2 that were excluded from their original senior group in Venus.

True. Something dramatic always has to happen at the surprise parties, and Craig walked off upset both times.

Spinner is just in denial because he obviously has an undying love for Ashley. He couldn't let Craig know though because he is trying to get on Craig's good side, and he thinks he can do that by badmouthing Ashley. As much as it pains him to.

He misses his "sparring buddy." I don't think he hates Ash. He probably just wanted to cheer up Craig. When he peers into the Media Immersion class during the credits, he's looking for Ash. That's why he's so sad.

The one thing about that surprise party was that I couldn't help but wonder why someone who has a better home situation than Ellie (basically everyone) couldn't have had the party at their house because The Dot is seriously about as lame a place as there could be to have a party.

I always love the love/hate thing that Spin and Ash had going on. Somewhere in life (maybe at the Toby/Paige wedding) these two will get together for one brief magical moment. And then Spin will do something to screw it up.
