Kathy, I agreed with what you said about Venus, that Craig looked the same when he heard about his dad and Ash. Oh boy, Emma and Ellie. So OOC and so not likeable to me here, especially Emma. I was laughing during several of the more inane lines. Manny, though very likeable, came off very naive to me in the plastic surgeon's office. I guess that was the point though. Before the gym room incident, Panny was pretty cute...dangit. The one Crellie scene at the end I did like, the others meh. I sorta understand why people ship them, but I'm pretty sure I won't. I'll keep them as a UC though.

Lindsey's right. Straight up, Allister looks like a guy you'd find on America's Most Wanted.

*This is my first time seeing the ep in full. I'd rank it in the above average pile. It's not good, but there was enough to keep me interested. Peter's a hot sleaze.

ETA - Glad you enjoed it Nikki! I forced my guy friend to watch it and he hates Degrassi - he made fun of it the entire time. He cheered on Peter, of course. My mom watched some of it and she was upset about Ashley leaving, and I didn't even know she knew anything about the show.

Yay for your mom! Man, I was sooo sad when I didn't see Ash in the credits. Ha!! Peter's going to be the guy you love to watch or the guy that you love to hate. I still want to see what goes down with him.

I can't believe how much Emma annoyed me in this ep, and I like her. Sigh. Maybe it'll get better. Actually, my favorite in this ep was Paige. Her snarky comments made me feel like I was actually watching Degrassi. There were a couple moments that just didn't work for me, like the bus thing. Oh, well. Manny was a funny drunk.

Yeah Emma was just so out there in Venus, she wasn't Emma. I loved Emma in season 1-3 and even in season 4 but s5 Emma doesn't look like its getting any better. ;_; But I am hoping that if Dan/Sean comes back Emma will go through a self-discovery phase. I am hoping the same to happen to Ashley if(WHEN) she ever sees Craig again (MOVIE).

Oh man the opening credits look so unprofessional. And Jimmy looks like he is doing something he shouldn't be doing in public.

The opening credits were messed up.

I agree with you on the Emma thing. I loved her in seasons 1-3 and I could tolerate her in season 4. But now, she just annoys me alot. Hopefully she will change with or without Sean. Same with Ashley, if Mel comes back for the movie. As for Peter, I wonder about him and whats in store for him. Allister's picture with Ashley makes me laugh for some reason. It's just something about the way he looks

I watched Father Figure the other day and thought Emma was so great in that ep. I really miss that Emma though I know she's going through some stuff. Still, this

I saw FF yesterday too. Thats the Emma I want back. If it wasn't for Ellie, Emma would've been my favorite character in season 3.

Eh, I guess I'm the lone wolf who doesn't really have any problems with the way any of the female characters acted in Venus. Well, except for Hazel. That "they're looking for a new drummer" comment was totally uncalled for. Just the latest in the long line of brutal lines uttered by Hazel over the years.

I was never for Pemma. Now I kind of loathe the idea. But I was right in my prediction they'd pair him up with somebody. At least I think whatever Pemma we get will be quick.

I guess most of my favorite Emma eps are from season 3. I liked her in FF, UGTL, AAO, and IWC. I felt she was well-rounded by then. I love that scene where they find out Snake's in remission, still one of the few scenes to make me tear up. Ellie rocked season 3. Ugh, what happened?

It probably will be quick which is good. The only thing I'm looking forward to in Pemma is when Emma finds out that Snake is cheating with Mrs. H, her new boyfriend's mother. That will be Pemma's demise, if not sooner.

I liked Emma in those episodes too. I love that scene when they find out he's in remisson, probably one of my favorites also. I really didn't mind Ellie that much in Venus. But yeah, she ruled season 3. I really liked everybody in season 3, even Manny at times.

I can't think of anyone that bugged me all of season three. By the end of season 3, I felt bad for Manny. J.T. ditching Toby bugged me, but I wasn't mad at him. I actually liked Ellie the most when she was paired with Sean.

Manny only bugged in the beginning of season 3. I also felt bad for her by the end and I started to like her again. I liked Ellie regardless of her being with Sean or not. The whole J.T./Toby thing didn't bother me much because I knew it would be just like Emma/Manny and they'd be friends next time we saw them together.

One of the positives of the darker side of J.T. this season will be seeing the J.T./Toby friendship tested. They've been tested before, but not on the same level as Spin/Marco or Emma/Manny. This can only bring them closer. And of course it'll test Jiberty. Gone are the days of tire swings and icees.

I'm using a J.T. icon so I feel less lonely.

I think it'd be foolish not to mention Manny's pregnancy when Liberty's pregnant. She's the one girl that has experienced it, and Liberty's not close to Spike or Emma (not really). I wonder if Liberty's mom will come into play later. We know her dad's going to go ballistic.

This is the most Toby screentime we'll probably get since season one. Enjoy it.
