I find Crellie to be more complex and interesting than Cranny. Crellie is new and their situation is more interesting to me. I dont want to watch Cranny sit and stew on Season 3 anymore. I'm tired of it. I just want them to cut all ties. Even if Manny falls on her head and Craig got shock therapy over the summer and it's erased all bad memories/associations and they can be happy together, I still won't be interested. I can't see them sharing anything but a superficial moment like "come over here and warm me up." It's boring and cheesy.

Crellie will be the opposite of all this because they are friends and probably will keep trying to hang out. We'll see them in both realms and there will be this sexual tension between them that I find interesting. I don't need to be bashed over the head with kissing. Crellie having feelings for each other and trying to avoid them, but giving in every once in awhile is a lot more dramatic and attention getting.

I can picture Craig and Ellie doing just that, and I'd actually somewhat enjoy it. Ellie's conflicts have always been about her family, so any relationship drama with her would be more fresh. For Craig, it would be new in a way because I personally feel this would be the first time he's experiencing relationship conflict that was more natural. I found Cranny forced on me for the reasons we mention in the Chokers (i.e. that sudden connection Cranny is supposed to have).

I liked Cranny in the second and third seasons, and there were parts of Crash that I liked as well. But, at this point, I think both of have kind of run their course and it's time for all involved to head in different directions. I thought the same about Spinner and Paige before last season, and I think their breakup was done very nicely on the show (Yeah, I'm sure Mayberry's just loving me, right now,

). Hopefully, they can do the same with this trio this year.

As far as

Crellie is concerned, that emotional conflict that both characters will feel (especially Ellie) is something that I think could be very interesting to watch. The one thing I'm fairly certain of- their relationship will not be strictly platonic. One, or both of them will have romantic feelings towards the other.

And then, of course, both, along with Manny, will be in Downtown Sucksquatch, which is how I will now refer to that band as long as Manny & Ellie are involved with them.

But I understand. I'm an eternal optimist so of course I'm not in agreement, but Spaige did have a decent break-up.

Crash, nah, I think they deserve a break though.

Cranny's done in my eyes. They'll have whatever they have, and I don't think Crellie's a one-shot thing. This is all so labored, though, well to me. Have the two girls in the band and pair them off. Why can't they have a single girl in there? Did they just add the girls for relationship drama? Meh.

Ellie in the band. She has played other instruments on the show before and if she sounds like crap, she'll fit right in. But, Manny? She has to do more than just shake her tamourine. Is she going to sing? And are they putting her in the band to give Cassie a chance to sing on the show? That's what worrying me, more than anything.

Speaking of the person that Ellie appears to be replacing, I hope the writers/producers don't forget that Craig & Spinner were talking to each other at the end of last season. I don't think they well because we saw that one clip with them together at the Dot, but you never know.

Justme, that is what I refer to them as now too...the band.

I had an odd feeling when I was looking at the promos of the band...I wasn't sure whether to laugh or be extremely disappointed. Why the hell are Marco and Craig in matching retro suits? WHAT IS GOING ON? Craig's really let the band go to hell this time. But looking at the rest of the promos, It seems like they are in some play setting? I'm hoping that it's all just a one time thing.

That's true, Nicole. It could be a one time thing like the play. Still, having Manny in the band is just too weird. What, did Craig just need a tambourine for one song? Well, in VC, Craig trusted Marco's fashion sensibilities, but now even Craig will admit it's gone too far.

I'm trying to link all the images together now and I was just thinking about that one pic where Manny is looking back at the band. She's got a look that says that something has gone wrong. She's wearing the same top as the one where she's sitting next to the drums. Maybe the band plays one song together and it all falls apart and it's over. If they are playing at some gig for Kevin Smith's movie, I'm going to puke. Enough with Kevin Smith. It's not realistic that he's bending over backwards to help these kids out.

I was assuming that these pics are all from the first few episodes. If that's the case, then Craig and Manny become friends or whatever they are these days pretty quick. Impressive. And Manny and Ellie are friends too or friendly enough to be in a band together? Early on? Very very weird.

Them becoming friends seems unrealistic to me. I'd sooner buy they just jumped into a relationship because of something Craig did in Venus. Partly because it's been done before with Crash. Can anything about Cranny be original? I mean, anything? I still hope Ellie and Manny don't become friends. It's too much. These are probably all from Venus and the first few eps.

So what does everyone think Craig will feel toward Ashley from Venus on?

I think that he'll be pretty openly bitter about her, to be honest. But at the same time I think he would forgive her in an instant if she just said the words because he'll still love her and everything. If he is mad at her that just proves they need to get Ashley back so they can be at peace with each other in the end. Wheather he be bitter or accept her leaving I know she'll be on his mind all the time.

I suspect he'll be bitter unless Ellie comes to her defense. Even then, he'll probably just ignore Ellie and concentrate on the resentment. Then, those feelings will gradually fade. He'll remember their history and the times when Ash was there for him. He'll let it go.

Yeah I think they'll have Craig's final storyline deal with Ashley and forgiving her and letting go of whatever grudge he may form with her tomorrow.

I feel the same way as you 2 do. She said she would be coming back and I think he was expecting it. Maybe not to become her boyfriend again, but just to talk and become friends again. Something for closure. Now he won't be getting his closure, at least not face to face. He's going to feel even more abandoned probably.

I wonder if it will be hard for his next girlfriend to get him to open up. Who do you think has the best shot? I think Ellie, just because I see her as someone with amazing insight. Manny is a sweet girl sometimes, but I just don't think she could see where he's coming from and sympathsize with it and still be his girlfriend.

I'm wondering if Ashley will pop in mid-season and stir things up.

Wonder if it's related to when Jake will take off (if that's true). I'm not saying that he'll take off with her, but I think that it could cause him to question a lot of things and just want to take off on his own. Craig has a habit of running away, quite literally.

But I see him coming to terms with his feelings about her and letting go of the resentment.

I had that same thought Nicole. Craig will be in a dark place, maybe recently having broken up with Manny. Maybe that band gig is a last hurrah and Craig will get interested in something else. Hence, that acting picture. But that's just enough anymore. He wants greener pastures, and maybe that's what Ash found in England. If she came back, I can see them talking about it and Craig would leave to find who he really is.

Ellie has the better chance IMO.

I see Craig being very conflicted about a lot of things this season. I think he's going to be very unsettled and maybe date a couple girls.

I just can't see him getting serious about Manny. After he just went through hell dealing with Ashley leaving for England and now she's not coming back...that's going to just reopen the wound. So why would he go back to another girl that he has bad history with? That's why he should go fresh and new with Ellie or or Alex or some other new girl.

I really can see Craig itching to get out and start something new (probably something artistic since he's into music and photography). That conversation between him and Ash sounds very interesting, Nikki. That might be the moment when he lets the grudge go and decides he has 'nothing left to prove.'
