I can see Peter as a loner who occasionally talks with Manny and Emma. Maybe he won't get together with anyone at all? If they do have him get will someone they HAVE to develop him more. Or they could do what they did with Manny and hire a bunch of newbiews for his posse (chante, darcy). But I think they will have to give him some redeming qualities if he is gonna chill with anyone from the main cast. He doesn't seem like an 'Amy' type character.

I was wondering if this new kid Derek might hang with him. I'm still working under my theory that Peter is a bad, privileged kid and that's the impression I get from Derek, although more favored than privileged.

Crellie....interesting. I just may enjoy the first few eps without Cranny in sight. Yeah, Cranny's what I'm most confused/annoyed by. Let this ship sail...please.

My hopes for season 5 (some were hinted at in season 4, or I took them as hints):
Spaige (really thought that picture in the yearbook meant something, but maybe it was just to show Spin missed his friends in general)
Home lives for J.T., Alex, Jay and Jimmy (hey I see his mom!)
completely new guy for Manny
Storylines for Ashley and Toby
more Crash will or won't they?
Jaitlin wedding
Students worrying about colleges
Jiberty storyline
Jimmy/Spin interaction
Emjay closure
Cranny closure...but not as a couple, just being friends
And my two UCs....Cralex and Tobanny

Well, I guess I'll jump in anyway.....

What I would have wanted:
- An ongoing Craig/Ashley thing, with them ending up together.
- A storyline for Ashley......Toby also
- Daniel to return permanantly
- A Jiberty storyline that wasn't wrapped up within an episode
- Manny being single, at least for a while
- The home lives of J.T., Jimmy, Alex, and Jay

Speaking of possible new characters, did anyone ever hear if Gretzky's daughter joining the case ever became a done deal?

I'm now convinced the Jaitlin wedding is going to happen in the movie.

Cralex would be interesting if for no other reason than the fact that if Craig screwed up, he'd suddenly become a soprano.

That would be the perfect movie: Crash seeing each other again for the first time in a year and dealing with their feelings for each other (you'll know they'll still be there) and a Jaitlin wedding.

Of corase I would want CrAsh to have a subplot to Emma's [probable] mainplot. And I wouldn't want them to get back together in the movie since that would be really rushed (although a hook up or something would be nice). I'm just rambling on...

True. We don't know who Derek is and if he's just a plot point. My gut feeling is that the writers will be testing out various characters, Derek included. If Alex does get a gf, then I can see her being an underclassmen. I thought Chante, Chester, and Darcy were tests, and Darcy passed. Congrats Shenae.

JustMe. Cralex makes for good television and PG violence.

I don't know what I want from Crash if they were in a movie. I just want to know they're both single and talking basically. A hint that will keep this Crash fan hopeful. Yep, Miss Emma would get the main plot definitely.

I've always thought that the main plots in the movie would involve Emma, Craig and Jaitlin. Then I figure Paige will get a smaller plot, and Spin will probably get one as well (maybe with Jimmy if they're back to being friends). And Manny would probably have key roles in both the Emma and Paige plots, and maybe the one with Craig as well.

There are three things you can count on:

Emma
Craig
An adult storyline

I want Manny and Craig to be completely done with each other by the movie. If they were friends that would be okay though.

I think tomorrow we'll get more Crellie then CrAsh talk. Just a hunch.

Oh wow, is it already time for Venus? Since it crept up on me like that and I'm not all that interested, maybe I can refrain from downloading for a few days so I don't drive the people in line behind me nuts.

What do I want for season 5...hmmm.

-I'm very curious about Peter. I hope we get a look into what he's like so people can make an informed decision about him and he's not just known as the dude who filmed some chick taking her top off.
-I like Cralex or Crellie. Pulling more for Crellie now though.
-I hope I get my Craig drama fix and it has nothing to do with what mess Cranny finds themselves in this time around.
-A look into Alex and Jay's homelife - that's a good one, you guys.
-Jimmy dealing with being in a wheelchair.
-How's Spin going to deal with going back to school (probably as an outcast)? Maybe he'll have some Ashley type transformation because of it?
-I dont know what I want for Emma, but I did enjoy the character twist that Secrets took. Explore more 'bad girl' Emma but still keep her as the Emma we all love, if that makes sense.
-I'm looking forward to seeing how Liberty deals with the pregnancy.
-Manny to finally let go of Craig.
-more Crash will they or won't they.
-Something goes down with Jaitlin. A will they or won't they type thing. But ends on a they will.
-More Craig/Joey interaction...Craig's dad's interfers yet again and tests everyone.
-I always wished that they would do an episode with male sexual abuse but I doubt that will happen. I hate that they have to live in total silence about it - a young guy (who was abused) seeing an episode about it would probably be very touching to them and maybe make them feel like less of a freak and that would be so awesome.

Normally, I try to keep the lyrics tied to some kind of a major event that happened that day in music history (for instance, Jimi Hendrix's death on Sept 18th). Today, I was contemplating using Gram Parsons, whose passed away 32 years ago today, but I figured, what the hell...it's a brand new Degrassi and probably most of this group wouldn't know Gram Parsons from Graham Crackers anyway.

Yeah, I have no idea who Gram Parsons is. But Jimi Hendrix's cool. I like paying attention to quotes from music or movies, and then bugging the person by guessing where they're from. Luckily, I knew yours.

Crellie could stir up all kinds of stuff. I don't think Ellie would be evil for crushing on a guy she's spending a lot of time with. Like Kathy said, it makes sense because Crellie has been hanging out a lot more than Jellie. Jellie will come later, maybe at a point where we see Jazel's growing apart. The only way I would hate Crellie intensely is if Craig laughed in Ellie's face, but I don't see that happening.
