yea the what if with cremma was just awful. i love the what if jay was emma and emma was jay. the what ifs were pretty great.

I just think the Cremma one was done to please the fans. No real thought process went into it. But I still get a kick out of envisioning Cremma announcing a pregnancy to Joey, Snake, and Spike all in the same room.

If Jay returns for this season, I wouldn't be surprised to see him as one of the drivers....assuming the bit about the race is actually true.

BTW- On his official site, John Bregar posted about just wrapping 601/602. If he's actually in it, we could end up seeing a Marco plot. Then again, he could just show up with Marco in the expected Ellie plot. And speaking of Ellie, I really do think they're going to have her end up sharing a place with Marco, Paige and Hazel. That's going to be their "organic" way of keeping them around one another.

Oh, and I suppose some of this should go over in the spoilers thread. I'm just too lazy.

What's freaky is I was planning out a Grease--Degrassi fan fic. Craig was going to be Danny, Manny Rizzo, and Emma Sandy. I was going to drop the idea, but now I'm really motivated to do it. It's a sign!

It's gotta be better than the Cremma what if?

Um interesting idea for a fic actually, I can say in Season 2 I did kind of like the idea of Cremma, even though I really wanted Semma again.

At one point, during the 4th season, I had this notion of doing a story in which Degrassi was secretly ruled by an organized crime family (or gang if you prefer). Some of the teachers were capos, and characters like Jay, Craig, Spin and Sean were among the soldiers. After Sean had completed his hit on Rick, he had to move out of town for a while to lay low. That hit also lead to our intrepid reporters, Emma and Ellie to do some investigating, especially after Sean took off. After doing some digging, they find out that not only is the school corrupt, but that the school shooting was also a way to have a coup and force out the leader Raditch, who had gotten too big for his britches. He was replaced by Hot Sauce, of course, who was put in that spot purely in a figurative role ala Junior on the Sopranos. Running things behind the scenes was the real leader, and most ruthless character of all------living up to his name.......Snake.

And that was about as far as I got as I knew that in order for something like that to actually work, it would take someone with far more than talent than I have.

Sounds cool to me. But instead of Snake, I'd call him "the Snake" like "the Don".
