See, I don't know much about script writing. I stick to fiction. But that's really cool that your Degrassi script got you an A.

Too bad the writers haven't written an A episode for me this season. Well, that's not true. I'd give a couple eps an A-, but a lot of it was meh for me. No really, really great eps, though, I have to admit.

Ali's important, but I hope it's more about Ashley and her feelings. I just hate Ali that much.

I want to learn how to do scriptwriting. Actually I hated Multicultural Literature more than composition. I enjoyed reading the stories, I just hated analyzing them. I agree with pretty much everyone on how I would want Ashley to act in regards to Crellie and what I think would be in character for her now.

I agree that Ali does need to be brought up...and they beauty of it is (if the writers are smart enough) Ash can explain that it really wasn't about Ali, he just happened to be there.

It was a follow-up to Manny's abortion storyline, since we never actually got one thanks to The N.. The subplot tied with the mainplot a bit. It was about Spinner and the Friendship Club promoting..you guessed it...Pro-Life.

Yeah, I'd like something indepth like that, too. If Craig simply casually asks about him, I do not want Ashley to give them same vague explanation she gave Ellie. Not to Craig. He deserves to know more than that.

The best episode of the season was Redemption Song, but even that one doesn't live up to some of the stronger episodes from the last couple seasons.

The thing is, they could still work around that and go with the Ali as a front for the real reason scenario. At least, that's what I would do.....

Oh, and as an Sicko man here, if or rather when (

) Crellie gets together, I think there absolutely has to be some fallout with Ashley. It would just be poor writing if there wasn't.

I agree. RS was the best, but there were better ones in previous seasons. There were good moments in several eps, though. I'll give the writers that.

Well, obviously the finale was last night but normally it aired Sunday nights at 10. However, next season it's supposed to move to Thursdays at 9. But I bet repeats during summer would be at the normal time...we'll see. Season one is out on dvd though.

In general, the best thing they did (besides the Spin storyline) were the issues with the parents. I'm thinking specifically of the stuff with Manny and Jimmy and their respective fathers- both of those were nicely done. Although, in both cases they had some glaring omissions which just left you scratching your head. In Manny's case, the lack of follow-up; even if they didn't do another episode it still needed to be mentioned at various points during the course of the season. In Jimmy's case, the absence of mother was pretty glaring, especially given what we saw of his father. I also liked the stuff with Liberty and her parents- that might have been the best part of that whole storyline. The stuff with Marco and his father was okay. JT and his little reinvented family? Uhh....well, we'll see what happens when they do the episode with his father this season.

I realized they had a seperation last season with Snake and Spike, but I think they could again put something like that to good use with Kate and Jeff and how it would affect Ashley and Toby. And it would give Ashley a storyline that didn't involve a love interest. And it would give Toby some time off the island. But, I'm not holding my breath.
