I guess I understand why they focus more on Jenna/Alli since they live together and are probably closer than Clare/Alli now but I just wish we got more scenes with these two. Especially now that it's senior year. It would be nice to see a call back to their first scene on the Degrassi steps at some point this season. Or to any of the classic Alli/Clare scenes.

Maybe not the vibrator one.

Or actually better yet, yes let's have a call back to that. Maybe even just a knowing glace after a comment that no one else besides these two understand.

And yeah, I'm hoping we get to see some more with them before their time is up. I think we will, but I hope what they give us is worth it, always a concern, especially with long running characters.

Yeah honestly even though they've had scenes this season there hasn't been much weight to them. Even during the abuse storyline we mostly just saw the usual supportive friend since Clare was kept in the dark about what happened for most of the episodes.

Surprised that this thread didn't get a after last week's episode since Alli was the one who first found out about Clare's pregnancy. I liked her approach. She wasn't going to tell Clare what to do. She was just there for her.

(I am still waiting for a Clare/Jenna talk about pregnancy though.)

Yeah I'm glad that we saw Clare confiding in Alli. Even though Jenna's been through this it still makes sense that she turned to Alli first. Even though Drew and Zoe have been spreading this news all over school. It's very clear that Clare wasn't looking for this to get out and that's probably why we've only seen her with Alli so far. Even if another friend has been through the same thing as you, if you only want to confide in one person you gotta go with your longtime bestie.

And even though they were a No. 1 seed I was still a little surprised they ended up in the Final 4.

Oh I'm sure there will be some boy drama for them and they will need each others shoulder to cry on.

I'd like to see their final scenes, maybe at graduation, be with each other. Did they have their first scene together on the Degrassi steps? They also had one like that at night at a dance after some Eli drama and Clare met up with Alli. Maybe they should have their last scene at that location as well. Full circle.

Ha! Even if it wasn't my favorite story line with them, I was glad we got one final plot for them. I know there's no chance of it happening (not with a certain non senior still involved with the show) but I would love if it was these two (or these two and Jenna) sharing their final moments on the show.

When Alli was reading the entries of Clare's journal out loud I was worried for a minute that it was going to trigger another fight. I liked how that scene ended up playing out.

Interesting how they swapped "places" at the end. All these years it has been Alli as the unsure one and Clare there with advice on what the right thing to do is. I think I like that. We had been waiting for a conversation like this for awhile.

Yeah they both pretty much did a 180 from who they started out as by the last season. I never would have expected season 8 Clare to go through some of the stuff she ended up going through, but I think now Clare/Alli understand each other a lot better than they did in the beginning because of it.
