Sorry the OP is still so boring. I know someone mentioned that whoever had something to add to it should make the new thread, but we were already at 300 posts so I figured I would just post it. If anyone has any art I'd be happy to add it to the first post. I might make some, but I don't have the resources for that at the moment.
I also had to shorten the suggested title because the original was too long to fit. If this edited version seems off or something, I could change it. (I couldn't fit Nekoshoujo's combination of the two titles either. :/) __________________

I think
 is being buggy because even "We haven't met Adam yet but that's not going to stop us from discussion" doesn't fit and I just tested it without publishing the new thread. Also unable to edit the title...it removes characters when I backspace. This isn't the first time it's done that. I can try to change it later if that's what we want to go with.__________________

I know! I wanted to use that one since I thought it was a nice combination of the two suggested ones, but it still wouldn't fit. Oh well, at least this is more tolerable than

Hehe. So I decided to join this forum because I have no one to talk about Adam. And I'm pretty sure I have developed an Adam obsession before this season has even started.
Adam is the most adorable thing I've ever seen. I personally think he's FtM, but he's incredibly beyond cute either way. Cutest guy on Degrassi. By far. <3 My dad's actually a MtF transexual, soo I'm really really excited they're doing this on such a mainstream teenage show. (: I don't tell a lot of my friends because no one really understands the situation, so I hope Adam's character is portrayed well. I love Jordan & I think she can do it, but I know the writers could really mess it up. :/ Looks REALLY good so far though! I can't wait! Ahem. Sorry for the long first post. I have lots to say! |

Lol, I think a lot of us (including me) have developed an Adam obsession by now. It's hard not to. I mean... look at him! <3 And yes, it's pretty amazing that they're going to put this topic out there. Not many tv shows have had transgender characters, let alone MAIN characters. I have complete faith in Jordan and moderate to high faith in the Degrassi writers and producers in pulling this off. I'm still in the MtF camp myself. But I completely agree, either way Adam rocks. __________________

I don't remember ever seeing a transgendered main character before besides Max on the L Word. Which was in my opinion handled horribly and ended up being incredibly stupid. I mean even more stupid than most of the other badly done storylines on that show. Adam is already a million times better! Did I forget to mention that he's adorable?
I kinda hope they do FtM only because I think most people immediately think MtF when they think of a transgendered person. (Don't really care though cause Adam/Jordan is cute both ways!) ;D |
