100 Reasons Why We Love Degrassi
I've seen this thread on lots of boards, and it's pretty fun. Post however many you'd like.
Reasons 1. Because it's intense. 2. Because it hilarious, and not always intentionally. 3. Because the cast is hot. 4. Because it's Canadian. 5. Because it tackles tough issues. 6. Because we can relate to the stuff that happens. 7. Because it ties original cast members with TNG members, ala Emma and Spike. 8. Because you can never be to old to love Degrassi. 9. Because they show the way teenagers really are. 10. Because Emma isn't always a good girl. 11. Because every episode can make you laugh and cry at the same time. 12. Because its not 20 year olds playing teenagers, they are actually in high school. 13. Because the characters are all diverse in their own way. 14. Because the relationships are real and not fairytales. 15. Because you may have seen this ep, but you always watch it again. 16. Because they understand what being in high school is all about. 17. Because friendships come and go but degrassi is always there 18. Because we can imagine the characters sitting next to us in school. 19. Because they dont shy away from reality. 20. Because we see a bit of ourselves in all of the characters. 21. Because even the adults are cool. __________________
