I was looking at the Fiona/Holly J thread and wondering why I can't bring myself to care about Fimogen.

Then I remembered:
Imogen belongs with Clare. Fiona belongs with Holly J. End of story.

....which is not to say I'm trying to incite a ship war or anything. CLIMOGEN WOULD WIN

What I love about this season is that everyone is kinda chilling with everyone and the writers are making good use of the different connections between characters. With Imogen being in a band with Adam and friendly with Eli it would actually be really weird if Clare and Imogen didn't interact. I'm assuming they're on friendly terms and we just haven't seen it.

I dunno why Clare is always eating lunch alone outside. We should have a lunch with these two just casually interacting.

It's been awhile since we had a substantial scene with these two but last night was nice! I loved that Eli wasn't around for it too. I've been pleasantly surprised to see the writers aren't going the lingering resentment route with these two since there's been no need for it. Maybe a real friendship is in the works for them? With Fiona gone, Imogen is looking for some new friends and they're actually a bit similar in odd ways so I think it could work. If Imogen and Adam do end up an item they could double date too.

Imogen visted Clare in the hospital! I take this as a sign they'll be friends once school starts. Can they have a sleepover?

So one of the few exciting things I took away from the summer promo was the shot of Clare hanging out with Imo and Imo's new girlfriend. Maybe Imogen's confession she always had a crush on Clare - we all called it! - was a sign they are exploring a friendship with these two. Honestly after all this I'm not surprised their friends. They have so many mutual friends and I feel like even though Imogen is loyal to Eli, she's already suggested that she understands why Clare would want to be with Drew.

I can't wait for more of these two!
