I've been hoping someone would post this thread, but i guess i'm not the most patient person in the world if anybody can make a better thread, then by all means, that would be so great! as long as there's a thread. I see a lot of potential between the couple, and I'd like to believe there's going to be a lot more to them than just being her rebound until eclare are back together. If there isn't any love, then I at least ship their friendship. I'm excited and I can't wait till Tuesday!

Thank you for making a thread for them! I've been thinking about it too so supporters have some place to go. This is a good first thread! We can work on the OP later as the season progresses.

I think that Jake will be a pretty chill guy and that might be what Clare needs. It might be nice to see her more carefree; she's still a teenager.

Well i mean with each boyfriend Clare has become more and more sure of her self in a sexual way. And she knows Jake a little better than Eli and KC.. to me it makes sense that she would be a little more comfortable in that sense..
but i am certain they wont go to far.

Add me! When I heard Clare had a new love interest I wasn't sure how I felt. I love Eclare, but I feel like Eli is just getting too intense and I miss the old eclare days before they got together. I feel like I'd only enjoy eclare if they went back to that, and not being all intense.

Enough about eclare, why I'm hoping I'll continue to like Cake is because Jake seems like a normal kid. No hidden past, no intense emotional scarring, just a normal teenage guy which is what I think Clare needs and would fit well with. Clare is a pretty average nice teenage girl, so I think she needs an average teenage boy. I think she needs someone who she can have fun with and be happy, where with Eli all their stories were intense and emotional, they hardly ever had normal fun!

So, I've shipped all of Clare's relationships, but I think this relationship has the most promise of success because these two are compatible.

I def. like how jake is going to encourage clare to have more fun, but i don't know... if anyone has seen the promo for lovegame, i'm really worried about his character and the influence he's going to have on clare. The way he told her to move on, i didn't like it : /. Maybe it's just me, but he sounded really irritated with her and maybe it's just because she prob. used him to get a reaction out of eli, but is he going to use her feelings to his advantage? i hope he doesn't push himself on clare because it's a good time to use her when she's vulnerable. I'm hoping he'll develope his feelings for her when he tries to "protect her" from eli because i'd like a relationship or a friendship from them, nothing in-between!!
