I was talking to a friend() about a movie that I watched not too long ago, and it got me thinking. Can men and women be friends or does always sex get in the way?



I think we all know what movie I'm talking about

I just wanna know people's opinions. Personally, I don't think so but that could just be me.

And if you do have male/female 'just' friends, do you wanna take it to the next level?

Yup, it's absolutely possible. I have several guy friends with no sex involved and it's great.

I have make friends with no sex involved as well. But my older sister told me that it probably crossed the guys mind, whether he acted on it or not. And as Harry in When Harry Met Sally stated, it doesn't matter because the sex thing is already out there. Even if it's a one sided thing, it's already been put out there and you can't take it back.
I would still like to think that isn't happening though. It definitely creates quite a bit of tension, at least for awhile.

Well, I think it's possible. Maybe not for everyone, but I think it is. I'm sure in many cases, though, it crosses minds, but not always.

I work in a radio station, and I'm the only female. I'm 19 years old, and I've never had . Also, I grew up with guys.. It's cool.

Well, I don't have many close guy friends, so it's hard for me answer that. Plus, I'm in a relationship, so that would be bad.

Well up until I was 16 I only had female friends so when I went to my next school and found myself in a group of friends where there were four guys it was weird (not because I liked them ) just because it was new. They're all great guys but I have never liked them as anything more not then and certainly not now that I have a b/f. .

Basically I think it depends on the kind of guy you go for, if you end up friends with a guy who fits the type you look for in a relationship then who knows what could happen .

It's completely possible! I've been best friends with a guy for over 15 years and nothing has ever gone on between us, despite what everyone says. Yes, there have been times when taking things to the next level were considered, but we talked and decided it was best to keep things the same, yet things aren't weird now because of it.

I have quite a few other close guy friends and I acutally find I'm closer to the ones which things have happened between us in the past.
