The Unemployment Thread: because our bank accounts are scary

Who else needs a because they can't find a job, or at least their dream job?

I'm a recent college grad and although I send out tons of resumes per week, I get no call backs.

Ahh my bank statement is so scaring me.

I know I work but I really don't like my job.

Your bank statement scares you? You don't want to imagine mine

My friends call me out and the first thing I think about is if I have enough money to eat dinner and watch a movie with them. It's so sad.
My parents feels bad for me, so sometime they will give me a 10 or a 20 if I'm going out. I think they are getting tired of me staying at home. My dad keeps dropping hints that the bank needs tellers.
Geez, darnnit useless majors.

Bank Teller, that sounds easy enough. Anything is something until you get that dream job.

Yeah, better to get some money than no money at all.

Yeah that's true. I think I'm actually going to do that.

I just wanted something in one of my majors, so that I could advance from there.

Oh well, you got to do what you got to do.

Your avie is hypnotic General Maximus. Isn't that Sasuke?

What is/was your major?

Whomever made it had it labeled as Itachi. Itachi's sharingan is more advanced, so i would think it to be Sasuke's. Stefy +1 for Naruto knowledge

I hear ya... I'm working (well a bit, seeing as we're between contracts right now) and I need to save up for school. Very scary.

At least I have my anime knowledge to help me out. If only VizMedia or Funimation saw my potential.

I was an English major and TV Productions major with 2 internships under my belt, which don't seem to be helping out right now. Oh well, things will come when they come.

Janet: I would like to go back one day too for grad school, but yeah it's scary and school is expensive.
I hope you save up enough money soon to go to school.

When you get a job at NBC, let me know. You can slap me on a sitcom or let me play Sylar's dad or something

It took me awhile to get a job in the field I went to school for. Now, that degree isn't good enough to advance very far.

I'll remember that.

I've interned at a talk show, but never a sitcom. Now that would be fun.

I'm a senior in high school and I'm trying to find a job around town for a few months before I move in December. There's like nothing here except fast food (which I REALLY do not want to do) or retail (which you have to be 18 usually to do), so it's been difficult. I checked my bank account last night and I had $.5. Hah!

I work and my bank account gets very scary at the end of the month, sometimes I wonder why I bother, it's a never ending round of mortgage and bills to pay. And kids to feed. And school books to buy..
Good luck with the job hunting!

I'm a student and don't work during term, but have just spent all my earnings from vacation work on a holiday for my parents' wedding anniversary. Am so cleaned out now.

I hate my job, working as a waitress and it is really worse, especially my boss. I wish I could quit but I need the money.
